Seeing Rashida react to Jamie's impression of her dad made me tear up ngl.

the most heartwarming part - it was hilarious. humor is a medicine to sorrow. was frustrated at how dry the response was from majority of the room, but seeing quincy's own children laugh cancelled that out.

I think it was the teleprompter tbh. He was ad-libbing a lot and telling stories all of that was smooth but when he had to go back to the script the teleprompter was probably off and hard to read/find his place

the Diddy jokes are getting corny at this point..and have some respect for the deceased
@nfbconnect6 күн бұрын
@brandonb3711 I've researched the intersection of abuse, sexual trauma, and extortion on the music industry for over a decade. Go past the first few pages on Google if you want to learn about the real Quincy Jones. Rich people pay for a narrative about themselves to become legends. How many legends in hindsight were horrific abusers? Many. I have respect for humanity. Talent does not demand my respect when I learn over and over and over again that the talented person is a monster. Stop idolizing people you don't know. I have no respect for Quincy Jones dead or alive. Ten years ago people were telling me to shut up about Diddy too.
