Well, technically, your brain is LFO, your foot is LFO's output interface, and the pedal is just a release controller :)

Amazing tips as usual, and a great new perspective on what a pianist does!

You should do a video running through your favourite songs you’ve personally made and what went in to them, I think that would be really cool and personal

Great lesson, keep em coming. This week I want to give “10 CLS - Dreaming” the spotlight. 10 CLS is a relatively new alias from Ophidian, a Hardcore legend. The Album “RUN”, which this track is taken from, is really divers and features a lot of experimental stuff. If you want to go a little bit harder than definitely check out Ophidian’s stuff. His tracks fall into the “Industrial Hardcore” genre, therefore feature very distorted kicks but also beautiful melodies. “Ophidian - Butterfly VIP” is probably his most famous track, which features one if not the best piano melody ever, in my opinion. Thanks for reading and enjoy the tracks!

interesting idea - I generally think of the sustain pedal as the release phase of the amp envelope (combined with envelope retrig)

While I do appreciate your tips and love your channel, I do not approve the Fred Flintstone look or smearing bare foot grease on piano pedals 😉 (hope they're brass and antimicrobial).

As awkward as saying "piano player" instead of "pianist" is, it might save you from the occasional blooper.
