For each situation, Horizontal sensitivity can only be the same value for all channels, but vertical sensitivity can have different values for each channel. Our time scale can only be the same value for all channel inputs on a scope.

Yes. The horizontal time scale applies for all properties however each channel (and the math operation) can be individually vertically scaled. This selective vertical zooming ability helps if you're comparing some unusually large property with an unusually small property.
