OSCP Exam Time Lapse

The OSCP is a 24-hour, practical, ethical hacking certification by Offensive Security. It requires holders to successfully attack and root 5 machines in the exam network.
The certification is well respected in the cyber security industry due to the grueling nature of the exam, and is often listed as a requirement for penetration testing jobs.
This was my second attempt at the OSCP exam. I passed by compromising 4 out of the 5 vulnerable hosts in the lab environment.

Writing the report during the exam is the best tip i can give, saved time and most importantly makes it easier to go back and think when stuck. Congrats!

That is a good tip. I took comprehensive screenshots during the exam and had short one sentence descriptions. During report writing I just had to make it more verbose.

It took 24 hours for my result. Also check by logging into proving grounds, I actually got the result there a few hours before the email came through

Did adding the two extra monitors make you more productive compared to just the monitor screen during your first attempt? I think so because you don’t have to constantly switch between three apps when you can have all apps open in three different monitors. Im personally contemplating if i should go with one or multiple screens whilst im doing the practice labs and learning. And also eventually during my first exam take.
