Power of (good intent) new karma can address the effects of past bad karma ie now the past karma’s effects can be experienced along with new good karma so the force of (destined) past karmic effects can be mitigated by mixing with new good karma. If one is aware and kept doing good karma would eventually change his/her destiny. Destiny is a predictive snapshot from a large /big time-frame perspective however one’s constant intense will to do good karma changes it.

I can take years or many lifes or it can be matter of seconds to realize or understand your true self or atman or consciousness.If you understand the concept of non duality, then its relatively easy to feel the divine/consciousness/soul/life force/ atman.Its present everywhere.Everywhere means everwhere, even the vaccum of space between stars is conscious of its surrounding.And that consciousness and your consciouness is same.The only difference is you have physical body to manifest that consciousness..
