no, doing that move is terrible. it's at best a tie and at worst, it's a loss. there's no reason for Fauna to give the 6 boxes after. what Watame should've done was anything else in that 5 box area, which forces it all 5 to be taken instead of being split 4-1, so this forces the tie. regardless, she made the first major mistake earlier with bottom left

Best watame could do is draw. The way you described it fauna make one pink draw a line i the newly 4 stack, watame finish the 4 stack create a line in the 6 stack without making a box, fauna take the 6 stack, fauna win 14 to 10. If you put the line where you said, you can force fauna to take that 5 stack as long as you don't make a box, wich you can, wich lead her to make that line in the 6 stack without making a box, watame takes the 6 stack, draw 12 to 12
