The whole Kronii/Mumei dynamic is very much a Straight man/Fool thing going on. A lot of people may look at it the wrong way because they don't expect Mumei to be a good actor and troll Kronii and they don't realize she has an excellent "on the verge of tears" voice that she often does. They think her whole memory "She forgor" thing is the extent of her character. She loves picking on Kronii because she gives the best reactions to her trolling which was what set off Kronii to go on the hunt for her in the first place. Gura recognizes Mumei's plan which is why she played along on Mumei's side and never directly intervened or butted in. It was better for her to just actually get there and get the shot on stream because it's content. That's what they do, they make content and Gura can see content unfolding before her eyes.

Honestly I'm not sure if people grasp the full potential of Mumeis talents. Yes she is cute and the "she forgor" meme is funny, but it goes so far beyond that. This girl has an incredibly versatile voice, can sing, has a creative mind and great acting skills. She plays the "she forgor" part so good that you really start to question if it's just an act or something more, and she uses it to her advantage to produce great content. This scene is a perfect example, it's easy to think that Kronii just roasts poor lil Mumei and owl needs protection, but that's exactly what she wants you to think. In the full context, she was trolling Kronii for like 20 min playing hide and seek around the portal and bringing out her gap moe by immediately guilt tripping her. She also pulled an UNO reverse when Gura tried to troll her at the end of the stream. Don't let the cute lil owl sona fool you, she's well aware what she is doing.
