Apparently you should disable Cortana during Windows install process. Unfortunate that whoever set up her PC did not do this (or maybe Windows 11 makes it harder to do that from the start). Not only that, but it's even recommended to not have the internet plugged in when doing the install, so that automatic drivers and downloads aren't executed without you knowing about it (because they're often not the best in terms of being up-to-date). Anyway, yeah. She has a lot of Microsoft spyware now lol
