Awe man, I really liked this channel back in 2020, my family always said "it's that Aussie guy" every time I was watching you, and now your view count is falling off... thanks for the memories while your channel was popular.

I like how your videos now include a glimpse of how everything looks on the monitor before switching to the screen capture. 👀👍

actually, not that bad of an idea resource hacker might be a fun (and funny) tool to destroy really any software with, especially software from the olden days where windows 2000 was at its peak :P

Merry Christmas, I've been watching since your very first episode. My wife is from Singapore and I remember we were visiting her family and I had to sit there in the room with my kids while they fell asleep because they were little and had trouble falling asleep. Anyway that was so long ago thanks for keeping this channel going love your content!

@OsFirstTimer2 күн бұрын
That's right, Jazzy and I have been to New Zealand, that's the only time truly out of Australia so South Korea will be our first international holiday and first country visit without English being the main language :)

And I thought that late 2000s Apple was as skeuomorphic as it gets, clearly not lol
@OsFirstTimer2 күн бұрын
Haha, yea, I got quite the shock too. Skeuomorphic is my favourite design philosophy, just look at the Windows 2000 calculator and then the Gizmo Mega-pak calcs.... Clearly they are better :)
@andreiamalitei2 күн бұрын
Yeah, my preferred design is Neumorphism and still, that 2000 calculator needed an upgrade. These gizmos were actually useful back then @@OsFirstTimer

Im thinking like a Diana. I think too; more computer programs needs "looks like a real world". For more user friendly and looks and feeling goods, better for humans. We are not robots and "new" graphic designers says "these are modern looking" programs. But these feel me, ı have a terminator's eye in real life... In 2024 !

Hi OSFirstTimer, I agree with your and Diana's view on subcription fees! :D
@OsFirstTimer22 сағат бұрын
I extend that out to things like the internet too. I'd rather spend $5,000 for a device that provides me internet at 250mbps, forever and then if I want to upgrade, I pay another $5,000 for an upgrade to 2000mbps etc until I want to pay more to upgrade again. I'd only upgrade every 15 years :P However, I understand when it comes specifically to internet, it's not that simple and subscription fees are required for the internet to actually run and be maintained ;)
@SuperCharryaBloopersX3Сағат бұрын
@@OsFirstTimer tysm for replying!! :D Also yeah, I also agree to this, cant really add anything other than that my opinion is that if a subscription fee isnt required to keep the service running (as you said, internet), it SHOULDNT have a subscription fee. Also a little bit stirring away from the topic, but I recently had an issue where I couldnt extend my main C: partition due to it not being right next to it. I went to search for software to fix that, and literally EVERY SINGLE PROGRAM I FOUND didnt allow me to apply the changes without paying. I honestly dont understand that, like actually... Why would anyone buy the software if you cant see if it works first? Would love to hear your opinion on this :p

Very cool, i always loved desktop widgets like this, but sadly the only new software i can find that lets you also make widgets is paid D: They feel real so much like a little *_gizmo_* because of all the 3D stuff like bevels and others Edit: sorry if you saw a comment saying "wtf is a panty collider" since theres a bug on youtube that when you watch shorts from a video and you comment on it it comments on the video too
