Since your mom often likes the default desktop backgrounds of these operating systems, but seems to have some preferences about desktop backgrounds, you should consider setting the backgrounds for operating systems and distros she tests to an all black background, or just something awful. Then she's guaranteed to attempt to change the desktop background, and while she does you can take a look at the default one.

Adam install virtualbox, if your mobo supports hardware virtualization, you will have options up to Sierra, else only up to snow leopard

No QE/CI? (dock and menu bar aren't translucent) For the destruction, you should try the nvidia web drivers for QE/CI. If you're using a VM, try the tools first though. Or use your slow as molasses Core 2 Duo MacBook and install Sierra on it. And how did you get launchpad to start fast without graphics acceleration? Usually launchpad is laggy as hell without graphics acceleration.

They named it macOS "Sierra" on purpose. - Sierra is the OS name - Get rid of the E because apple likes the letter I - Get rid of the second r - Replace the a with i because apple likes the letter i in front of their things - macOS Sierra is "Siri" Confirmed. Note: I have not actually used Sierra, but being an iPhone user for going on 4 months, it is clear why they did this. They also wanted to compete with Windows 10. As you may or may not know, Cortana, the personal voice assistant for Windows Phone, was placed on Windows 10. Cortana was Microsoft's "answer" to Siri. Using Windows 10 and iOS 10.2.1 together = Siri and Cortana can have a conversation with one another.

Yes, Yes, Yes, your Mom hit the nail on the head when saying...So, why is Apple trying to make their computer operating system act more like their iPhone's OS? I always love when working on a project that can be done using Apple's old and outdated OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system. Which, still lets me open all Power PC OS X programs, runs Front Row, and fully supports the Apple white remote control (smile...smile).

how do you install macos in VM ware? I can't do it. I installed something to add it as an option but when I run it, it asks about drive partitions and refuses to let me add it properly and refuses to run

In that case, you may be able to find a pre-setup vmware image that has mac os installed. It should also come with a mod (you need to patch VMWare) that allows it to boot in vmware.

OSFirstTimer yes I already patched vmware to run macos however it gets to the installation screen and whether I add two drives or not it only comes up with one and states this drive can't be used to install the OS. I'll check again in a few mins once I get my PC on.

You need to install a VMWare mod that allows mac operating systems to boot, sorry it's been a while since I actually installed it, but you can find the answer on google.

Use hackintosh and if you use amd type in /amd -v -f -x npci=0x3000 when you have the amd capable hackintosh ISO. Make sure you use yosemite first because you can download it as an ISO file. The rest are dmg and cant be used in vbox.
