Brilliant, Phil. I'm vlogging today (21.06.19) and I mention starting my day with beans on toast and coffee and watching a certain KZbinr's video that's just gone live. Of course I did not mention you just that you're overseas and showing clips filmed ten years ago on a laptop camera 😊 It occurred to me that your mother must watching these videos with a tear in her eye and provoked a thought in me about sharing grief. Personally I wouldn't. I'd keep it private. And that's only because I'm not brave enough. You are and I thank you for it, because we get to watch and feel and think and reflect and share your feelings. Once again the VO is so expertly done (why can't a 51 do this? Inspired much?) 😊 So. Well done on another entertaining and technically made video 👏👏👏 PS Was I so looking forward to this... 😮

Haha, it's funny when another KZbinr mentions you in their video. As for Diana seeing these episodes, she watches them the moment I finish editing them and they render, so before you guys even see em. I often warn her if episodes have sad moments in them, like this one, but, as 10 years have passed, she is strong enough to watch these videos. I find bringing sadness and deepness into this series very difficult as the attempted genre is light humor blended with personal history. I find the best way to do it is to speak slower and remove the general happy, bouncy expression I usually use, just temporarily and then ease back into the happy voice again over the next minute or so. I'm going to find December 2009 to be a HUGE challenge. As for the voice over being expertly done, I actually am TERRIBLE at speech-type things. I can barely say a single sentence without messing up completely and needing to start again. What you are hearing as a perfectly flowing voice over is actually the best parts of hundreds of attempts to say things correctly. Often when you here a sentance or two, it's actually made of about 4 different tries, merged together to sound like it's said all at once, but it's not. The voice overs go for well over an hour with all the mistakes, so it's editing and a lot of time that makes me sound good, I haven't got a perfect "Audio-book Reading Voice" :) I'm glad you like this series. Ugh I hate how KZbin doesn’t notify you about new videos when you’re in the app. Anyways I think you should keep uploading this every other week, but the weeks that you don’t have anything uploaded you should upload something recent from the archive. Just so we can get something old and something new. I’ll talk more about this video once I’m done watching it EDIT: Man do 3D ultrasounds look really creepy. And I’m so sorry about your nana, cancer is literally the worst type of thing to die from in my opinion. Just the thought of my relatives or friends having it is just something I could never get over. And also 14:38 “nana and grandpa lunch 1 hour special” makes it seem like it’s some sort of TV series finale, which I guess in a way it was

Mentionist no they all have the filled in bell with the little sound lines which means they’re all on full notifications, but for some reason I don’t get notified while in the app (they do show up in my inbox though), but I do get notifications while outside the app

How do you remember the little details from 10 years ago? Your memory must hold pretty well :) EDIT: I know it was a decade ago but I send my condolences for your grandmother.

Ask me to remember something that happened a few weeks ago and it's pretty difficult, but show me a video of something that happened 10 years ago and all my memories come back like magic. Poor memory problems were a small part of the reason I started the archive and boy, it helps me remember things really well.

Philip. There's a show your parents might enjoy. You might enjoy it. I don't know if Jazzie from Tazzie would, but maybe. Look into POST MODERN JUKEBOX coming to Hobart! I just saw it in Vegas. It's a sort of show that's all over the world with different musicians simultaneously. Check out their KZbin stuff. If you and your Mom cringe, don't go! Otherwise -- grab your Dad and Jazzie!
