The webinar was presented by Dale Glacken, Compliance Assistance Specialist for OSHA's Harrisburg Area Office. Dale reviewed a number of record-keeping requirements.
During the session Dale reviewed:
• The need to record injury and illnesses appropriately. Who is responsible for completing the forms, with what forms, posting and how long to maintain the records?
• Need to report severe injuries and illnesses to OSHA.
• Electronically reporting injury and illness records to OSHA.
• Incentive and disincentive policies and practices that may affect employee injury reporting.
• Does OSHA have guidance for drug/alcohol programs and incentive programs?
• And finally, who is responsible for injury and illness records/reporting of a temporary employee, the temp agency or the host employer?
