Thanks for the natto bean video!! I've thought about trying it, but never have. I'm originally from from San Jose, CA and we have many Japanese grocery stores that sell natto. Maybe someday!!
It can definitely take some getting used to, but I hope you find you like it!

We appreciate the work you do on the captions! Real pro!
It's fantastic to see your adventurous spirit in trying traditional Japanese breakfast, especially Mito Natto! Natto is known for its distinctive smell and appearance, and it's a polarizing food. However, the fermented soybeans are considered healthy, promoting longevity. Enjoying the adventure of trying the traditional breakfast in Mito. 🍽🇯🇵

Thank you! Once you begin to love natto, there's no going back!
I've never seen it packaged this way before! Let's keep in mind everything tastes better outside. So, along with the traditional service, I'm not too surprised it tastes better this way, but I'd still be apprehensive of trying it just based on other people's reaction to it. I'm just not an "adventurous eater". I do agree with Kiwi, the view was very nice!

Haha true.. maybe that's the true secret to enjoying natto after all. I'd love to know what the American equivalent is though (Brits and Aussies seem to torment innocent Japanese with Marmite / Vegemite).
Hello, Kiwi san & Bear san 😃! It's very novel that Kiwi san from England 🇬🇧 is eating authentic natto on the beach. I really like natto❤️! I thought so. It seems that you can clearly see the difference depending on the production area, fermentation bacteria and time of soybeans in the straw. Rather than mixing it with round and round 🌀, if you mix it vertically and mix it like putting air in it, it will be smoother, it will be more stwill be more sticy, and it will be delicious.🍚🫘🥢 Have a wonderful Christmas⭐️🎄🎉👋🏻(*^o^*) 🥂✨

😯 Thank you for this tip! I'll definitely try it next time!!
I think you could meet Miss VodkaNessan in Ibaraki, Miss Kiwi. Honestly, I didn’t like natto in the beginning, but after trying it for a few times, it is beneficial on health.

Born and raised in Japan, my dad had Natto every Sunday breakfast. But my least favorite Japanese food was Natto. Now I’ve been living in the US for over 40 years and watched your KZbin video, I might want to try Natto again. Let’s see how it turns out.
