Akane is the character this anime doesn't deserve. As for romantic interest, there's no intrigue here, Aqua likes Kana more, while he's just using Akane. That's why I don't think he deserves a single hair of hers. Akane is too good for him.

Aqua and kana have way better chemistry and shes outgoing. He needs an outgoing and ditzy girl like kana to keep him on his toes. Akane is def more beautiful, more feminine and smart (probably a freak in bed too) yet it seems like he feels no emotion towards her. Shes too gentle for him. He probably feels like he always has to be fake around her for some reason. Ofc akane sees through his BS and maybe that scares him. So he pushes her away Personally I would rather take akane over kana. For aqua though I would say he should be with kana. Theyre such a vibe together. Chemistry is strong and kana is so outgoing he will never be bored with her

Also for people who were confused especially manga readers : Cause everything was not into the order as the manga goes ! (U can see it on chap70 or 71) and i guess the reason why the team direction did that its because, they wanted to build up the suspence and tension perfectly, and if they animated in order like in the manga, it will suck that after a big revelation we are getting a normal date (which will cut the mood).

For any one wondering why Akane react like that: Everything Aqua was saying about being free to live a normal life and fall in love should have been music to her ears - the only reason for her to react with that horrified look was if she realized Aqua was wrong. From what Aqua explained, this discovery of his half-sibling and revelation that his father was already dead clearly happened recently - so it stands to reason the half-sibling would be someone from the Tokyo Blade play. And Akane has worked with Taiki in Lala Lai for years, so she's probably heard this story of his parents' (*) death from him and realizes exactly who Aqua is talking about. And having already researched Ai's life and death thoroughly, Akane realized what Aqua apparently keeps missing: the deaths of Taiki's parents*) happened a full two years before Ai's murder, so Taiki's supposed father can't be the man Aqua's been looking for.

Not really, it's not that deep. Aqua said Taiki's father had an affair with Ai which makes them half siblings, but the same can be said if Aqua's father had an affair with Taiki's mom (aka. the loophole).

@@mikermiks5784 taiki’s father died 2 full years before Ai’s death, that’s why his not the one who leak there address or not the one that Ai talking too through phone, I think that’s the loophole that akane talking about.

(My last comment 😂) i love how we can see on people's face who is on team kana or team Akane ! Also i read some comments were concerning about kana being useful in the story, honestly (in my opinion no hate) she is ! Reason is that, even she doesn't had that genius side like Akane, she can make aqua by having fun with him. Remember Aqua kinda have to act has "Akane's boyfriend" just for the media, while when he is with Kana he doesn't have to pretend to be somebody, he can be himself with her ! Thats how i see ! I'd like to see some other opinion too ^^

That means nothing, though. As in the case of blonde hair, it's a recessive gene, so even if you don't have blonde hair, you could potentially carry the recessive gene (which is repressed?) by the dominant darker hair gene. (e.g. two people with dark hair can have a blonde haired kid, as long as both of them carry the recessive blonde hair gene)

This might be my favorite reaction mashup of oshi no ko 😂 like i love how the people were so invested into kana's date (especially that guy on the bottom left corner its gonna be my homie for sure 😂) kana fans and akane fans were eating up good ! But it wont last for long until season 3 will come out 🥲

Basically Himekawa's father, who commited suicide, is not his real father but the guy we saw at the end. Just speculation, but I'm pretty sure this is the 'loophole' Akane was talking about.
