I hope Season 2 surpasses Season 1 in terms of animation and popularity. They really picked the most GOATED voice actors they could find. I definitely didn't expect Erwin's va on the team. The new OP has the gigantic shadow of Idol behind it so I hope it's a banger. I'm gonna miss Mephisto though. 🤩

I don't think it will surpass the popularity of season 1 because the opening song Idol made a global sensation and gave great attention to oshi no ko. This along with the long first episode which was unique (sort of).

I am soo excited for this arc cuz it's where I absolutely fell in love with Akane!! I loveee the way she goes abt with her acting because it not only immerses herself in the role but it also immerses the audience in the whole story! I also like how she pointed out that the og script didn't really bring out the character cuz I hate when that happens irl XD I also really admired how she was there for Aqua even when she was in the dark and even found out that she was Ai's son! Like bro she is sooo fricking smart- I hope she doesn't get hated on again like last season tho ;-;"

IIRC, it took around 3 volumes of the manga to cover that arc, so that arc alone might take around 9 or 10 episodes of season two... As someone who also likes JP VAs and is a Jojo fan, it is quite delightful to know that Jotaro (Daisuke Ono) will voice Goa. And yes, the theme song fits quite well with the arc.

Never ever: I wish but it isnt possible. First season did cover around 5 Volumes. In japanese there are rn I think 14 and a few chapters. Therefore, if you continue at this pace, you wold have to include fillers, even with 24 episodes...

In this arc of tokyo blade probably we will see an improvement in the animations but also an improvement in terms of colors, not that there is a need but an improvement every now and then. I hope that the scenes are done perfectly because there are 3 parts that I think are very important in the manga, especially the initial part of volume 5 which must be able to create again that sense of sadness that I felt in the manga.

Out of curiosity, if Season 2 will be covering the Tokyo Blade arc and the Private arc, will Season 2 be longer and have more episodes than Season 1? I mean, the Tokyo Blade Arc is the second longest in the series, next to the Movie Arc, as it has 26 chapters and spans over the course of three volumes. And the Private Arc has only 13 chapters, and spans over the course of roughly two volumes. So, will Season 2 be longer? I'm very curious.
