6 ROLL SPREADER FOR PPE FABRIC FOR THE NHS - 🇬🇧 UK MANUFACTURING 🇬🇧
The Oshima J3 Automated spreading machine is designed for woven, nonwoven, and technical fabrics!
This is a video of the Oshima J3 fabric spreader for spun-bond polypropylene rolls of fabric. This set-up can lay 6 rolls of fabric at a time allowing for faster processing of the fabric. We built this unit on a pathfinder easy loader conveyorised spreading table for movement of the material once it has been laid on the fabric cutting table, ready for processing into the pathfinder m-series CNC cutting machine. This can easily lay 72-ply of fabric in approximately 13 minutes, as opposed to over 1 hour for a standard operator laying 72-ply by hand with 2 operators.
This machine was installed at the NHS manufacturing hub in Seaton Delaval for the Northumbria NHS trust.
