But to me the rappers that really were in the streets before they made money rapping aren't studio gangsters they're just talking about their past reality and they have a right to talk about that. The studio gangsters are the ones that were never thugs but portray themselves like they made millions off drugs before rap. Most of these rappers that do nothing but glorify the streets were never out there, the rappers that were really out there might talk about it but they know that kind of life is nothing to glorify. There's nothing glamorous about the penitentury or half your friends being under the dirt
