It's always a joy to hear the sound of those rotary piston engines.

My son took me there and with the aid of a electric cart I able to spend the day . I have been a avid air show fan but Father Time is taking his toll .

The F-5 sure is a fine looking fighter aircraft. Still looks the part nearly sixty years since it’s introduction.

It looked like that last jet landed hard - but I bet its difficult to land. I fly RC - P-51, T-28, Sukhoi 29, and really enjoyed watching these landings - thank you.

Is that really an F5, or is it one of those brand new Iranian fighters that they announced last week!
@richarddarlington11396 жыл бұрын
Anyoldion Looks like a real F-5 to me.

I know, I was taking the piss out of Iran for copying it and announcing it as brand new.

He didn't shed any parts, did he? Looks Code 1 to me for a crosswind landing.

Do you have footage of runway 27 arrivals Tuesday evening after the show? I was probably 2-3 last to land before they shut the airport down with the smoothest landing of my life and a beautiful sunset behind me

We didn't get to 27 during the week - wish we could have gotten it for you!

AirshowStuffVideos It’s ok! Thanks for replying! You did film me 2 years ago arriving and that was pretty awesome.

Crappy landing at 9:30.
@richarddarlington11396 жыл бұрын
Beltfedshooters Yeah, He may have waited too long to give it some gas to help the flare. Cessna 140's don't want to come down. F-5's, don't want to stay up!

9:43 The USAF still has F-5's? I thought we sold them all to Switzerland lol

Privately-owned F-5. Ex-Norwegian RF-5A

The government is actively looking to purchase those gently used F-5's for adversary training. The USMC is particularly aggressive in looking for F-5's all over the world right now.

T-38s not good enough?
@NicholasJohnson576 жыл бұрын
@@DaylightDigital No, the ability to carry combat systems to simulate various threats is critical. The T-38 just was not designed to carry extra equipment. Radars and defensive electronics are critical equipment today.
