*OSHO: **_Next Time You Feel Angry_* ... This first book in a series of _OSHO SOLUTIONS_ consists of a single talk by Osho and uses a Zen story as a teaching tool to deepen the readers understanding how to deal with anger. Understanding is totally different approach compared to _self-help or how-to_ models which often try to give outside solutions for an inner problem. Osho brings a clarity to this issue and helps your own inner understanding to solve problems. Available on _Amazon_ as ebook 👉 www.amazon.com/Next-Time-Feel-Angry-Singles-ebook/dp/B0080K3OIM

Took this advice years ago and found that anger disappears after the twenty four hours, and in most cases, if not all, that it was really nothing to begin with. It is an introduction to seeing the reactive mind that makes a mole hill into a mountain. Today anger for me disappears nearly as soon as it appears, so glad to be rid of the idiocy of anger and the delusional reactive egoic mind.

I took this advise years ago, after 24 hours the anger is gone. I did the same after get married and my husband didn't understand. After some time, 24 hours was not enough and became days in silence. How amazing is the silence time. Connect with myself in a deep level and seems whatever was wrong will find a way in silence to get resolved. After this time we sit together and talk and whatever comes to clean the situation come from the deepest and we are able to look to ourselves and face us and not the other. What a miracle!
@siobhanmulvey2 жыл бұрын
Yes - when I sit or rest in silence regularly everything in my life is observed vs reacted to. But still my trauma mind /reactive mind can pull me out of my body solely swirling in my mind and then it’s as if resting just breathing pausing are forgotten as swirly domineering mind pushes me to do something anything so I can’t feel and observe the feelings in my body. I do so well but I recommit to myself today to hold presence in those hardest times and just go lay down exactly when mind telling me I must do xyz and pushing forcing me.

I came to this epiphany a couple days ago. it's never the other person, only my emotional reaction to them! No one is responsible for our emotional state! If we believe they are then we give up an essential part of creating a life we desire! Our emotions create our life
@ohara8845 Жыл бұрын
No we are responsible for how other people feel and they responsible for how we feel, because we are connected to each other and we have impact on how other people feel, if a mother said I'm not responsible for how my children feel then she will hurt them and destroy therire life without any compassion. You should care about how other people in your life feel and being careful of hurting them and they need to do the same thing or we will suffer forever. We are not a robots we are humans, and we will always be affected by there behavior, action and words especially those who leave with as in the same house it's impossible to not having any emotion or reaction to what happening around you.

My grandmother didn't know Bhagwan but the advice she gave me was similar and even more powerful. She said, "boy, before taking any big decision in life, make sure to sleep on it for 24 hours". And so I have been doing it. Before buying a car, getting a new girlfriend, decisively reply to an opponent in a heated argument. It is difficult though in a personal, instantaneous situation. People would think, he is very enlightened and he should not be wearing such things like that! but if you think and understand further , if he wears very innocent materials while he speaks his message, some people would still think, 'Wow he is trying to look more wise and everything he says would sound more promising because he is wearing a grey robe and wooden stick trying to act innocent' It's not about the appearances , it's about the message. Even when he says "I'm over materialistic point of view, such things do not bother me" but still wears such jewelries , it does not matter because he can and in his heart standard is same no matter what. Osho has talked about these material goods a few times. In the case of the watch, it was something about having no reason to refuse a gift when it comes from the heart. About the cars, he said that as long as people's questions are about why he has a roll royce, he would get one more. That's because that's not the question to ask. As long as the cars draw attention to him, he would continue, as this was a way for the person to pay attention to his message. He rarely drove. For a person who does not drive and rarely gets in a car, there is no reason to have a hundred of a specific model. It is clear that this was for other reasons.

I no you wrote this a long time ago. But when you step back and look at it, what does money or wealth have to do with being enlightened or a great teacher? Nothing weather you drive a Mercedes or a beat up truck, wisdom is wisdom it don’t matter what materials you have

*Quote:* _OSHO: If Somebody Creates Anger in You_ < Nobody creates anger in me, that's something I do myself: I literally choose to feel anger 'during' OR [directly] 'after' what someone else is saying/doing. Emotions (how I feel) are a result of choice, _my_ choice, thus it's _my_ creation. Feelings/emotions don't happen automatically nor is it created by someone else, or something supernatural: although it may seem to be that way from the point-of-view of those who are unaware of themselves ^^ I'm the only one who's responsible for 'how I feel' and for which kind of emotion to 'create/express' ;-)

I agree...you wouldn't be aware of any concious decision before the emotion strikes. Also, you would feel anger because of someone...no one just chooses to be angry for no reason... 🤷

Anger isn't the problem. The situation that caused the anger is the problem. Addressing symptoms when there's still a problem is why there are so many problems left to cause anger in others.

The anger passes. I think maybe that is the message? I have always felt great discomfort with my anger and the anger in others. I am trying to learn how to deal with it. Rage frightens me, with it's intensity and ability to cause destruction. Anger doesn't arise to my awareness very often, but when it does, it is intense.

Anger is an Energy moving inside of you. When you start observing it it is your third eye which is observing it. Not your physical eyes. Your third eye experience visual. And you become centered as per Osho. As per Osho you can use your negative emotions and convert them to transform your being. I ve personally experienced its results. But you must remember to follow the words. When anger arises in you Observe it Don't move with it. ( Book of Secrets. Vigyan Blairav Tantra. OSHO ) .

I don't understand completely what you're saying but that's why I need to listen to it over and over because when I don't understand something that's telling me I need to change to understand so the more I watch the more I change to understand

Ok I can explain He was meant that in anger people should not take any decision because it is not good to take any decision in anger He was saying if you get angry at someone if you have patience or if you are stable from mind you just tell him to meet after a day, after a day your anger and it effect on chitta(thoughts) will be gone now you'll take the decision will be your right decision in your life. that was all🙂

Anyone can become angry- that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose and in the right way- that is not easy.

I've never acted on anger impulsively and I feel like it is one of my greatest shortcomings not being able to do so.

You have a gift. 1 moment of anger acted upon can create 100 moments of shame, regret, and sadness.
