Osho was clever. He recorded all his discourses, which is now awakening millions of people. I am sure osho international has so many tapes. Please keep it safe. It is the only way people can come to know about osho. The other way is books , which only bookworms are fond of 😄

A book of Osho is not only for bookworms. Books are serious :p Actually reading a book about courage by him was fantastic. One of the best spiritual books I've ever read. I would not have wanted all that knowledge by watching a 10 hour video.

Osho said here that if you can make life fun - a play - a beautiful drama, then your life will be simply a dance of love - of gratitude - of peace - of silence. This is the whole work of Zen.

Osho said here that goals, problems and questions make you serious. Zen takes them away from your life.
@stephenhughes5156
@stephenhughes5156 2 жыл бұрын
And yet, it is my belief that living a 'Zen' life- following the 'Tao', if you will- can still lead you to accomplishing what look like 'big goals' and being 'successful'. The action just comes from a very different place. Rather than 'desire', you are driven by 'preferences', and common sense, and just living authentically.

We should thank Netflix and the broadcasting of 'Wild, Wild Country' for inadvertantly steering thousands, hundreds of thousands of people who did not even live to see the evil done to him and his teachings in the 1980s. I think the intent was to do a biased expose on Baghwan's followers and his teachings/. Instead, many, many people have listened now to his teachings that were THANKFULLY (!) recorded for posterity. His teachings, his wisdom are enjoying a new popularity and are being recieved with great joy. It is rare that you can watch a 'religious' video and almost all of the comenst are positive and/or extremely thankful. I love listening to him, and I am so glad the attempt to discredit what people didn't even bother to listen to has blissfully backfired!

I’m getting some troubles as the result but I can say that I see and feel myself now at a different level of living life with such a good felling and a voice shouting there is much more coming I’m witnessing every change and experiencing the obvious. I've experienced the glory of "God" and I agree that "God" is not an idea, rather "God" is PRESENCE. And therefore can only be experienced, not "known." Just as, there's a difference between looking at a clock on the wall and seeing the IDEA of a clock, but NOT recognizing the PRESENCE of the clock. To see its shape, its colors, the sounds it makes, etc. To really see it and feel the presence of it, makes it far more real and "beautiful" than the idea. And it becomes more real because your consciousness is brought into the present moment, which is real. Rather than, out of the present moment and in your "head," perceiving much of the world as concepts. This is also why "time flies" because you're not fully conscious and _present,_ instead identifying with thoughts in your head, or the feelings in your body.
@blackjackhiphop

You can only recognize a clock's presence by perceiving it through your senses. If you saw a clock, you would know it's there. If you imagined a clock, you would not know it's there.

Hmm... I don't think you need that much non-dual teaching. Things like that can wait. Nirvana will always be there, your life won't. It might be a good idea to learn how to navigate and improvise in the midst of uncertainty. You know, learn to share. Learn to trust/untrust. Learn to get along with people around you. And because of uncertainties, especially monetary, you might build intelligence into your brain? When you can make bread or lemonade "out of nothing", then who knows if you could reach the deepest truth of life too?

Rose is also a concept. Anything that has name and form is a concept. But Hinduism and also other religions are pointing to God which is Pure Awareness beyond any names and forms and concepts, the subtlest of the subtlest, beyond time and space. So in Truth, rose is a concept and God implies that beyond concepts. Sri Osho's analogys and sayings are not always truthful and inteligent but he IS the Truth and that's why I love him and listen to him. God bless
@Sydebern
@Sydebern 3 жыл бұрын
I think what Osho meant, is that the experience of the rose (beyond the concept of "rose") is an actual experience, and that "God" is not. Zen is also seeing that pure awareness and the world need eachother. Bodhidharma talked about this a lot. Actually i think there is great wisdom in what Osho says here, as there is great wisdom in practically everything he says. In our search for purity, we can become serious and forget our playful nature that is intertwined with the world. Yes, we are also beyond the world, but also in the world.
