"You ask the Chinese, you ask the Japanese, you ask the Germans, you ask the English, you ask anybody -- they all think the same. So what Iqbal has written is simply rubbish as far as the philosophical background is concerned. And I am against the very concept of "nation". The world is one; I cannot say that my country is the best of all the countries." Osho

Everytime I watch OSHO's videos I have tears in my eyes, he's amazing, and this story of his has taken me to my childhood memories :) Let's admit - We all kids frm 90's got thrashed with cane by our teachers and the irony was parents use to encourage teachers to beat.

Summary:- Osho said here that all school kids in India had to say the Allama Iqbal prayer every day. Osho refused to say it because it was lies. He challenged the head teacher in front of the whole school assembly. He also persuaded the other kids to refuse to say it. It is egotistic for a prayer to say that your country is the best. He said that because of poverty, it wasn't true. Either way, a prayer should not be ego fulfilling. A prayer should be ego destroying.

After watching this, I just realized, how much of an abuse we experienced during our grade school. Teachers hurt us physically and emotionally. We were always afraid. Now I just want to go to every teacher that abused us and ask them who has gave them the right to do so.. Little upset but nothing I can do to change that. What I can do is surely educate my future generations so that it would not happen again. Perhaps it would but this time there would be consequences to the abusive, egoistic, and prideful teachers.

We humans are always trying to lift up and maintain our egos. Since our egos (our very sense of a personal self) is made up of all the ideas, places, people, and things we identify with, anything we identify with we will violently defend and/or protect-no matter how ugly or destructive it may be. Identification is EVERYTHING! Therefore, since no one wants to destroy his/her personal ego (identification), no prayers for peace are honest. [Even suicide is a defense against ego destruction.] True peace requires ego dissolution.

I thank and truly love you Osho. Started with you at 48,now I'm 57 and have returned to your teachings to thank you and get further understanding. Have never loved anyone, no family as I ran away as a teenager and was placed in government housing which I ran away from too. Seeker all my life. Lived in parks and loved lakes and mountains which I lived until 17,and entered military. Went to eat and was sickened by murdering eastern people in Iranian war. I killed innocent people under orders. Knew it was wrong but had so so so much fear. Today no fear, I'm a retired engineer and business owner. And I thank and love you. Can't tell you personally so I'm doing this in the hopes another individual can get comfort in knowing he isn't alone. I've no fear no guilt nothing but love which I'm working on. Still hate people and it's a struggle going out for food and anything else. It's become a difficult place to work on loving humanity. I know others face this too. I wish you seekers luck and love you truly. Don't allow others to stop you . I call it the systems spotlight effect. System or cosmic whatever is shining a light upon the hate and nasty people so we living seekers can work on it. Can't work on live without a fight. An inner fight with self to overcome the madness. I've ran to the desert, the mountains, to Bermuda, and Guam to find a nice calm place. Well seekers it doesn't work running around. You Stay in place regardless where you are and fight the good fight. Prison, hostile country etc. You can do it. I send love unconditionally. If you can find me you can stay with me and I'll help you. It's up to you to find me. Good luck to you all and I love you seekers with my last breath. I'm in Colorado. My name. Is Keith J Hart living in Arvada Colorado. You can come. And seek me.. I can help you who finds me.. good luck.

Since my birth I was always wondering why people divided the land and calling it this country , that country. Who gave them the right to introduce visa's , citizenship programs etc to deny other humans entry to their country based on education , job money etc. How is it fair when a country that has so much natural abundance is being enjoyed only by certain people while people die without food in other countries. I always believed that world is one single place and there is no room for discrimation in the name of nationalism , religion , race or whatever. And I have listened to so many lectures from so many spiritual gurus all talking about their own country. For the first time in my life, I am hearing someone exactly echoing my thoughts about nationalism. This world is just one place our very own garden.
