Oh wow ! , my favorite childhood band , my dad bought the LP and we used to listen to it every Saturday mornings... They came to Bangalore in 1981 with he original band members but I was just 12 years old and my dad refused to take me as he expected the crowd to be very unruly , he was right the crowd broke into the VIP section close to the stage towards the end of the show and started dancing forcing my dad , sister and my dad's friend to make a fast move towards the exit....fast forward to 2012 or 2013 Osibisa visited Bangalore and performed at the Chowdiah memorial hall , I took my wife and my two kids and brought the executive tickets and was seated right in front of the stage front row but it was only Teddy Osei , Koffee Brown and Dell Richardson in the original lineup but the band performed all the original to the beat and we enjoyed it , again towards the end when " Dance the body music " played , all hell broke loose and a lot of people started making way towards the stage and started dancing making it difficult for us to view the band on stage...luckily that was the last song and we made our way toward the backstage and got the LPs signed by the members and clicked a few pics with them. It was an amazing experience for the whole family and an unforgettable event in our lives , that was the magic of the Legends from Ghana , Osibisa
