Trying New Things In Bangkok (we loved it)

In today's episode, we bring you on a wild journey through Bangkok in December of 2021. In our previous video, we explored how the city's tourist sights have been left almost deserted. In this video, you'll see how the places where locals hang out are as busy as ever, and we even meet up with two local friends who show us more of their hometown. We also take a day trip up north to one of the coolest ancient sights close to Bangkok.

We are Oskar & Dan, two boys from Sweden who decided to change the course of our lives, drop out of university and live life full-time. We're planning to visit every country in the world before we're 30 with an initial goal of 100 before the end of 2022. By the time of posting this video, we're both 24 :)
Thailand was country #23/197🌍 (first visited in 2017)
We started our trip in Phuket and then moved on up to Bangkok for over a week. From there, we went to the north of Thailand to Chiang Rai, a province we'd never been to before, although we'd been to the neighboring Chiang Mai.

Ayutthaya's palace is three times the size of the Bangkok Palace. And the Bangkok Palace is a replica of the royal palace in Ayutthaya.

I highly recommend ordering vegetarian via Grab Food. You will have all the options there. Don't be scared some are in Thai but you get the best ones without having to travel far! Knowing BKK is very congested.

Actully u can eat Pad Thai by just tellling the restaurant or the stall owner you are allergic to it and make sure they dont put the peanuts into it. Hope you have a chance to try it once, the door to Thai food. ;)

@@sophiekloppsowa1138 The peanut is just the topping put onto it b4 serving. There is no peanut in the sauce as it is majorly just a mixture of tamarind paste, fish sauce and palm sugar. Just in case you are curious, what I have explained is original recipe as Im originally Thai who loves to cook. Lol
