Thank you! I used the gopro usb pass through door and connected directly to a small tubular Anker 5000mAh power bank, that fit straight into my shorts. It wasn't too heavy and meant I didn't have to carry any batteries in my gopro

I did use the same tactic on the Dublin marathon a month later, and I'm not sure if it was the torrential rain the entire race, but the gopro ended up getting fried and I couldn't record the whole race in the end. Gopro replaced the device though

Will be running it next year. Already know that's not a flat course and I was wondering... Too many hills?

A bit of a mid size intimate race in my experience. Nothing extreme in terms of hills but I’d say don‘t skip your hill training, you are gonna need it especially in the last 4km of the Marathon :)

It's the hilliest marathon I've done so far, but the hills weren't overly brutal. It's 2 main climbs that you'll do twice each, so that final one near the end is obviously the hardest. There's a decent couple of km's coming back down to the finish line though. Like @runfilmsleep says though, a bit of hill training and you'll be golden. It is a smaller race, but I really enjoyed it. Very pretty city. Hope you enjoy it next year!
