As a Norwegian I don’t really get this comment as Norway isn’t very diverse tbh. Even though globalization, more immigrants and refugees has made it’s mark, it’s still a very tiny part of the overall population. You also need to understand, Oslo is not just a big city, but also our capital city. A ton of tourists, working immigrants, and a lot more “diverse” than what you will found out in the country side. I can say this as I grew up outside of Oslo in the suburbs, and now been living in Oslo for the past 11 years. Sure diverse compared to the rest of the country perhaps, but not if stacking up against countries like the US which is basically founded upon colonialism and illegal immigration onto indigenous lands for the past 500+ years and on going… Norway’s diversity depends on what you compare it with.
