Sweet buns with berries and crème fraîche
5 dl milk
150 g butter
125 dl icing sugar
50 g fresh yeast
1/2 tsp cardamom
750 g flour
The cream mixture:
4 dl crème fraîche
1 dl sugar
Roughly 300 g assorted berries, fresh or frozen
Warm the milk. Add butter and icing sugar. Wait for the mixture to become lukewarm. (If it's too hot it will kill the yeast) Add cardamom and the flour. Knead the dough. Prove for 30 minutes.
Form the dough to 10-12 buns. Flatten them a bit. Leave to prove for 30 minutes.
Flatten the center of the buns. Egg wash (optional)
Fill the center with about 1 table spoon of the crème fraîche sugar mixture. Add berries.
Warm in the oven at 220 Celsius for about 12-15 minutes.
