A bit of trivia: most fans think Esra left the show because of her divorce, however that couldn't be far from the truth. FYI Shooting of season 4 took place between late 2017 and mid 2018 whereas the divorce happened in June 2019 so she was still married when she left the show as you can see. She left because of the changes that were scheduled for season 5 related to casting of the older Gunduz, Savci and Osman. Otherwise the original plan did not involve the older kids and Esra was supposed to be in season 5.

The real reason she left was because she didn't want to harm her career by playing mother to the older boys and risk being type casted in future roles. Any promising young actress would have done the same thing.

I am almost finishing season 4 and I miss Halime so much I just can't get myself to watch season 5 now. Her death was the most heartbreaking one.. Soooo true it still makes me cry till date . The way his love & hayme ana , artuk bey all cried the way the whole village cried just showed how much she meant to all . In the actual history she did die giving birth to osman as she gave birth to him at a very old age . For sure in the show they did not show them that old but did stick to the facts . The essence of this whole show gives u chills but ErHal love is just magically divine and it also shows in there kids . In Kurulus loved Gunduz - Osman bond waiting for the trio bond in this 2nd season

@@sabbdin there is a very famous book of Ottoman history where it states Halime died after giving birth to Osman. The one true fact is a lot of this era & Osman's life was not recorded as it should be . But few have researched enough to write about it which have become best sellers. I commend Mehmet Bozdag to have done his research well enough to bring such a masterpiece to life & hats off to the actors to have potrayed these historical figures soooo beautifully.
