I LOVE this song, not only for the reminder of how the Lord Jesus loves me, but as a way to tell my sons I will always be there for them, no matter what! This song is a blessing to my family and for our lives. Thank you!

Its a very beautiful song, what I always like about the Osmond family is their a very close and loving family and their faith in God and family. Their music was clean and not dirty. I get respect for the Osmond family. God bless you and thank for your music, when I was growing up in the 60"s and 70"s.🎵🎸🎤🎶

No matter what song this man sings (even when he was still a prepubescent boy) he gives it 100% of everything he has in himself. The whole family has this work ethic! That’s why God keeps them in his favor and they just keep going like the energizer bunny! I will always be an Osmond fan. And I will probably still have that schoolgirl crush on Donny forever. He just has the doggone cutest smile!!! 😉

What refreshing song. Beautiful heartfelt and touching. Thanks for this video. A great testimony of being a parent wanting your child to know you'll be there. Just like the Savior Jesus Christ the one and only savior. I love this video.

I'm bawlin' my eyes out! I have 3 grown sons who don't live near me and Donny's story hit home BIG time because even though they are grown (one even plays college football) they still call Mom when they have a problem or just need to vent. When they showed the old photos of his family I started bawlin' like a baby! Thank you, Donny.

Ellen, you are listening to this song to find your Lord. I think your earthy father is not giving you what you need, sweetie. The Lord above will fill that void. Seek and he will deliver.

there is no dought that this was a true loving family. not like the j5 where they were emotionally abused. the osmonds held each other up, carried burdens together, and still stand strong today. and hold their faith in God and each other.

He talked about how this occurred when Brandon was on his mission which (I am guessing) was around his 19th birthday and so based on his age (which I found online) I am now realizing that this was pretty close to when his mom was dealing with ailing health. His mom died in 2004 and you realize that Brandon was probably in his mission life in 2003 (born 1985) and Donny's mom was less than in good shape at that point based on him talking about her having a stroke 2 years out online it is like WOW this is not at all just about his relationship with his kids. Beautiful sweet guy had to feel like he was failing on a completely different level. when you realize he was dealing with sucky stuff at the same point as sayonara goes Brandon that phone call had to be a changer of his life in a big way!!

If you want a cool clip of him talking about the significance of this song relating to the death of his mom you should search on youtube a video of him at a scotland concert on a documentary. If I could remember the video of him talking I would give you the clip. Let me search and maybe I can find it. He talks about more about what was going on in his mind when he sang this. VERY profound clips of his family etc
