Hello Abbie. Regarding keeping your tent on the outside of the Levity, you didn't mention the small loops at the base of the sack and the attachment points at the front. As regarding price I paid £129 for the 60 litre sack, by price comparison with Go Outdoors. You have got such a infectious bubbly personality, I love it. Cheers Pete.

Best comparison I’ve ever seen on these packs. Thanks Abbie.

Hey Abbie, might I suggest having a look at the Montane Trailblazer 30. It removes all but one of your issues with the Levity, it's black and orange, listed as 30l but in reality is more like 38/39l, and weighs only 600g. Add to this you can often pick them up on offer at Go Outdoors for £60 it's a pretty amazing piece of kit. The missing piece btw is the lack of bottom strap but this can be added with some dyneema cord or paracord attached to the bottom of the daisy chains running down the pack. Worth looking into. 👍

the Levity and Lumina are great packs, the only bummer is no hip-belt pockets :(
@TheTrailDancer4 жыл бұрын
I love your voice and vibe!!!!! No hip belt pockets is the only thing I dislike about these packs. I prefer the Redesigned Gregory Paragon/Maven or Optic/Octal to these. IMHO...

Great comparison video, was helpful for me. My husband has the Levity and used it all last year (he loves it) and I was trying to decide what I wanted to upgrade to. I went for the Eja since I like extra features and carry light anyways. Can’t wait to hit the trail!

Good video. Good backpacks. I have seen the Osprey levity 45 at REI and he is by far my favorite one. I cannot afford it though. My backpacks are from Walmart but I customize starting to resemble the top of the line 9 brand backpacks. I’m glad for you since you can afford them. Very good presentation. Thank you so much for sharing this video. Got bless you.

I saw them in a store yesterday and my feeling is that the hip belt is not the same. Actually, that has been the main characteristic of the exos preventing me to make the purchase decision, because I feel it is not enough padded for 10 kg (which is very likely the weight I am gonna carry) and even more important they feel kind of short, meaning that padded part does not wrap around your hips enough. When I saw the Levity I had the feeling that the situation was slightly worse (less padding and shorter hip support). Could you confirm that? I am also considering the gossamer gear mariposa which is around the weight of the Levity but looks more sturdy and comfortable (in exchange you have to compromise on ventilation) the problem is that living in Spain it is not easy to find it in stores. Thank you Great job

I think Osprey are having a laugh with the price on the levity. It's not like it's made out of dyneema or something. I'll stick with my exos which I too have done 100s of miles in with no problems and it only cost me 80 quid. If only Zpacks would sell directly in the UK and the discussion would be over! Nice video anyway Abbie 👍🙂
@3WalkingPoles6 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if Zpacks would be affordable in UK. See Montane Hyper Tour 38 and it's price. But anyway Exos is comfortable and durable and unlike Zpacks is for long years. The weight difference is just one visit to the toilet ;) - cannot be bothered by that.
@snowymatrix6 жыл бұрын
Thathanka a trip to the toilet is the weight difference! Interesting way of thinking about it 😂 I know how much the Zpacks cost in America I just don't want to get ripped off on the import duty. I'm a bit of a kit junkie and I want to try one on a long trail. The point of my comment was that in my opinion the levity is overpriced for what it is. I'm going to check out your channel later it looks like you have some cool trips...

It is using something close to dyneema
@allwaysinquire62125 жыл бұрын
Montane is having a laugh with the hyper lite theres about £30 retail worth of cuben in that pack its super simple construction crap back system ( same as there other ultralight packs) they are still making a forture with that pack cuben is not hard to sew its just the fabric cost that makes up the price but if i can buy fabric from germany for £30ish pounds a meter then montane will be paying half that for quantity. I would just forget all these and buy a atom pack from the uk cheaper and custom to your specs
@johnmatthews10954 жыл бұрын
I use them both and love them both , 300g is a big difference but I ended up rigging up a diy "stow on the go" on the levity , haven't missed owt else. I also miss the hip pockets of the earlier exos bags. Did they really weigh that much ? Idk maybe

This reinforces my like for the exos. I have not bought my pack yet but I am definitely leaning exos. Thank you for the very informative video!
