i average around 2.25 per kill and havent had a kill over 2.45 in like 30 kc so pretty good imo

The egg thing is really very minimal but some extra dps is better than no extra dps

Tiles are in the description! a lot of these strats arent necessary, but useful especially if you are considering doing the awakened version since sanity drains a lot faster in shadow realm in the awakened mode. Edit: your prayer also drains in the shadow realm! staying in real world as much as possible can extend your trips !

kodai is mainly for casting ancient spells like ice barrage, so not great for whisperer. There are 2 tridents; trident of the seas (from kraken) and trident of the swamp (upgraded form of the trident of the seas). Usually when people refer to trident, they are refering to the upgraded version. The tridents with an (e) at the back just means they can store more chargers, but have the same stats otherwise. Here I am referring to trident of the swamp. Virtus robes are fine, just bring ancient spellbook to freeze whisperer in case u don't manage to run far enough after each special

I feel like it keeps starting enrage phase near edge so I can’t run circles. Is running back and forth enough to dodge tentacles or can I drag whisp in previous phase so it starts in middle for enrage? Thanks!

Chins won't do anything because all of the ghosts have a tile gap between them. Just blowpipe the ones shouting "Vitas" to interrupt the attack. Blowpipe any other ones that you have time for.

Chins won’t work as the ghost are all spaced apart. I was using a trident with ahrims and getting 3:30 kills. If I was using some of the strats shown here I could have easily shaved that down to 3 minutes.

venator bow is only required to get a full clear, without it you'll be totally fine as well just that you'll have slightly longer kills. if no venator bow just use a 3 tick weapon like craws/msb or blowpipe

You can just kill the ghost saying "Vita!". This will nullify everything (sanity regen/dmg on you and whisp)

Im using shadow here as well, have you ever skipped her stun phase? If so any ideas on how to know if youve skipped?

heal to full before enrage, focus on switching prayers and running around since tentacles hitting u drains a ton of sanity. Bringing a stam let's u continuously run around the boss which would dodge tentacles most of the time

K it's because you can only hit the ghost in the middle of the cone shaped ghost the ones in a line you have to hit one on the end or it wont ricochet to all 3.

I'd probably say for most people that sceptre is gonna be better than volatile. It's only like 2.5m and you only need one, *maybe* two specs at the start of every kill. Also lets you replace Lightbearer with Seers for way better dps due to how the Shadow works

it’s not “way better dps” tho it’s like 93.6% accuracy to 94.1%, just saying! that’s also why i bring devout boots instead of eternals

@@AdminEpicHeadShot are you using the shadow? im like almost sure it's a decent dps bump up compared to not having it, since the shadow multiplies your accuracy bonus. it's why seers is used in so many main mage shadow loadoust. do correct me if I'm wrong though, but I'm pretty sure giving up eternals and seers would lose you s good amount of dps

@@sterlander814 it's very minimal when you're already at +423 magic accuracy as there's no dmg boost from those 2 items, if the boss had a magic level of like 400 then yes it would probably have a greater effect. but with monsters like this you're only adding like 0.5% accuracy

for the egg patterns. Red tiles are eggs that you never need to step on. Yellow and purple are to help me look out for which pattern it is, because sometimes you step on the eggs in the purple/yellow tiles, sometimes you dont

You can use a radius marker with 10 tile interaction range so you can space for bind more consistently without tile marker set ups, you don't need that much food or a brew, and you can get some extra damage by filling ticks with a 4t weapon on wave phase by doing 3 4t autos into shadow which will line you up

shadow does noodle as well, and its just the same thing but longer. If i were to use a trident i would do enrage the same way and just keep moving around the boss

you can just run in like a 5x5 square anywhere and you'll dodge most of the tentacles most of the time
