On my HCIM (btw) I also needed a Nature Talisman! I was SUPER worried like you, but while I was killing monsters for my other two items (an Avantoe and an Irit Leaf) it dropped off a Banshee from the Gem Drop table. I might as well quit now because I used up all my luck.

I would personally reccomend only going to 75-80fm for now bc the loot wont be that great with your stats. but its up to you and i just thought id put my 2 cents in:)

i had to grind the nature tally on my hcim as well, ended up camping abyssal leeches for it. was pretty scary but i eventually found a spot in the NW corner of the abyss where the high level creatures couldn't get me as easily. best drop ever once i got it :)

Get yourself 10 construction before going to wintertodt. The con XP you get for fixing the braziers are going to be insane compared to doing it from lvl 1 construction.

You have to complete FT 1 for fairy rings, but only start FT 2 (and have none of the skill requirements), so effectively completion of FT 1 unlocks them.

i remember forgetting my dragon axe so I just picked up a bronze axe from the crate at wintertodt and It was definitely slower

+GEAH GEAH GEAH GRRRAH bronze and iron axes cut the bruma roots once ever 4 ticks. All higher axes steel through to dragon cut the roots at a rate of 3 ticks. So yes any axe above iron is 25% faster at cutting but there's no difference between steel and dragon
