You are by far the best and easiest to understand when it comes to a quest, you keep it simple and don't waste anytime. Keep it up, you're my search everytime I need a quest guide/guide in general. If you don't get the key after using knife on, just search again (with book already on inventory), then on second attempt you should be able to get the key :)

To obtain the key after losing it, go to the house opposite of the anvils in seers. Search the book case and click ""click here to continue" and the key will appear in your invo. Good luck!

To obtain the Battered key after losing it, you can go to the house opposite the anvils in seers and search the bookcase. After selecting the option "Click here to continue" the key as well as a Slashed book appear in your inventory. Duplicates of the key can be obtained by dropping the key and retrieving another from the bookshelf. However, you can only add one Battered key to your steel key ring.

Done it today. When you search the bookcase, you will get a battered book. Use a knife on it to get the key. Searching the bookcase again didn't work for me. Make sure to bring a knife as well or pick it up from Seers village bank.

Do quests. Without even training farming you get 21 from quests - that's what i did.
