Colossal blade is a fun and powerful weapon to pull out during the Eclipse Moon clone phase. Good thing you've got a Giants' Foundry guide already out!

I have problems believing the "powerful" part. But can imagine it being fun. Will try it next time as a "spec" weapon for the clone phase.

For the Eclipse Moon shield special I've found the easiest thing is to mark the 4 corner tiles in a square 1 tile wider than the shield, keep run on, and move as soon as the shield starts moving. It's perfect every time and easy. I find spec energy is best spent with DDS on Blood Moon to avoid healing.

Best guide on the moons of peril! I now understand why the blood moon heals so much. I might need to switch out my dragon defender for a dragonfire shield when fighting him

Isn’t the Dharok method also viable ? The Dharok axe shreds thru the eclipse moon and the blue moon , it’s a bit more problematic with the blood moon but , I just switch to a whip and a defender and spec it with a crystal halberd.

If I don't have any of those stab weapons (as a low level ironman) would you say keris partisan is ok? Or am i better off just using whip or zombie axe on eclipse moon?

Look like Whip would be best. A quick check on the Wiki DPS calc said Whip > Zombie Axe (slash) > Keris Partisan against the Eclipse moon

you forgot a blue moon strat. when the tornadoes come up you want to put run off and control click the braziers. so even if you get hit you only lose 1 tick of running and is just less tedious.

To avoid dupes would it be worth to only kill one moon god and loot chest if we have the other 2 sets completed?

Yes, just killing the moon you need items from is that fastest way for collecting the items you don't have

Why is the dual macuahuitl good for crush but not for stab? The bonus is similar yet the wiki also doesn't consider it an option for stab...

The Dual Macuahuitl isn't bad for stab, but specifically for the Eclipse Moon, it loses some DPS because of the Flat Armour. Eclipse Moon's Flat armour reduces each of the 2 hits from the Macuahuitl, so many other "weaker" stab weapons will still out perform it

@@TheEdB0ys Ohhh makes sense. I thought all 3 of them had negative defence. I see I see. The wiki says +6 for stab, -5 for crush and -2 for slash. Cool cool cool.
