I love ALL of Tim Allen’s creations. Authenticity funny. And Nancy Travis is brilliant in comedy. Last Man Standing was cast perfectly. One of few shows where I enjoy every single character. So thankful it still airs on antennae TV! Thank You for the laughs.

I’m from TX but husband had a week long training seminar in LA when they were still taping Last Man Standing. I rented a car because we were way out in the burbs and picked him up when he got out of his class. I drove in to Burbank and we walked to the stage and stood in line. Because there was not enough seats available for a large group my husband and I were literally the last ones let in. Packed house and they were filming the Christmas segment with a surprise guest of Nick Jonas. There was a comedian who kept us laughing the entire time between takes and I was less than 10 feet from Tim Allen as he stopped and talked to 5 veterans there representing Wounded Warriors. They even bought cheese pizza and bottled water and passed it around for everyone. It was completely free and one of the most memorable evenings my husband and I ever had. I tried to get tickets to Dancing With The Stars but it safe to say we had the best time at Last Man Standing. The only unfortunate thing was I wear glasses and I broke my glasses that day. I was constantly having to fidget with them because I used scotch tape to keep them together. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to see to drive much less watch Tim Allen. I had insurance so I replaced them when I got home but of all times for that to happen.

I worked on the show for all nine seasons .The cast , mostly Tim and Nancy , would deliberately flub a line to get the audience worked up . There were natural mistakes from time to time but many were all part of the show . Thanks for the movies !

Love these outtakes from this fantastic show. Your dialogue mentions when Eva was asked to join the softball team. It's Eve, not Eva. Also curious as to why the video is horizontally flipped.

They have the only refrigerator on tv with a interior light that comes on when they open the door

I worked on the show for all nine seasons as a set lighting tech . I was the one that set the light any time we had a scene where the door was opened , thanks for noticing . 😅
