Oh, how I miss the great composers of Hollywood's golden past and in my estimation Dimitri Tiomkin was the best of the best.

An excellent soundtrack LP back in the day from a quaintly suspenseful, but high enjoyable, WW2 thriller. If you enjoy this album, then I'd recommend seeking out the exceptional CD from Film Score Monthly if you can still find it. It contains the complete score beginning with the complete vocal version of the lilting love theme.

One of my favorite Tiomkin scores. It seems weird to me it's not celebrated more, like in compilation and live performances.
