To anyone who thinks HoV kills Himeko, let me put it here. No she dint kill Himeko for Himeko already do not have much time left due to her poor compatibility with Honkai energy and forcefully insert a stigmata to become a valkyrie and finally she put on the Vermillion Knight (her S-Rank battlesuit) did not help either. That suit can grant her massive power but also quickly errodes her body with Honkai energy even if the corruption is slowed with Fu Hua helps. Her final attack in the cg only further her corruption to give her a chance to inject the vaccine (blue liquid) into HoV to suppress the Honkai energy within Kiana body to bring Kiana will back. As whether Himeko die or not, there are no further info about it, even if she survives that event and awoke somewhere i doubt she has much left to live. Edit: I have not come back here for a year and i got quite lot of likes and comments. A first time for me, i ty everyone. Also welcome different points of view from others who saw the Final Lesson scene :)

Eh Kiana doesn't directly kill Himeko per say but the existence of God Kiana was final straw that dashed any hope of Himeko surviving. If Himeko took the serum herself like she was supposed to do, she would have lost her powers but would have been able to clear the Honkai Corruption in her body allowing her to continue living. But since Himeko is Himeko and would never leave Kiana to her fate, she used her only chance of survival and pushed her body to the limits and beyond to save Kiana. Basically Himeko traded her life for Kiana's and it's true that it Himeko's decision and not Kiana's fault (rather it's Otto's fault for existing because fuck Otto) but Kiana being the straw that broke the camel's back does leave a sour taste in people's mouths.

@Random Person If we take raw power, definitly Kiana HoV form. in gnosis state tho it could get tricky for both, since a houkai (yes, chinese spelling) is a godlike creature, while wielders of gnosis are gods. Kiana´s HoV destruction power is way stronger than Zhonglis, but lore wise and strategic wise, zhongli knows his weak points, while a houkai sees itself highly. so with a bit of strategic, zhongli could win. I would say a ratio from about 3 of 10 outcomes zhongli wins.

I'm also attracted cuz' of being a weeb and at first I used Japanese voices. But when I heard the Chinese version and the cutscenes with them I feel like they are made with more heart, that or they picked better suited Chinese VAs rather than Japanese (Kiana's Japan VA really doesn't fit IMO) or maybe it's just the tiny Chinese blood I have in me speaking. Seele legit showed more emotion in her Bronya rescuing scene, where she first turned into Stygian Nymph, and Velonia's voice fit more than just some caring mother, she should be anything but just that.

@@LunarEdge7 Chinese dubbing, in general, was literally horrible and strange ten years ago, and I used to only use Japanese dubbing whenever available. But in recent years the Chinese dubbing industry has thrived and matured in all aspects, as a native speaker I can definitely notice the remarkable improvement. In terms of HI3, not only do the voice lines fit the characters more, but the textures and also details are richer than those of Japanese dubbing. I can't agree more on the poor choice of Kiana's VA and I think the tricky part is that when HI3 project started, Mihoyo continued to collaborate with the same Japanese VA (Rie Kugimiya) for Kiana in HI2 while employing a new Chinese VA for Kiana. However, the character set of Kiana varied so much from HI2 to HI3, from clever and proud to clumsy yet dedicated. So even when in HI2 her Japanese VA fits perfectly, it's almost unbearable in HI3. I'm not saying that they shouldn't have employed the same VA, most famous VAs are ridiculously versatile, not to mention the one and only Rie. It's just that she didn't adapt much switching from HI2 to HI3, nor as the story progresses.

Just started playing a few days ago and just completed chapter 9, gotta say, this is one of the most interesting and entertaining games I've ever played. The story os so fucking good, the gameplay mechanics are incredibly comfortable, easy and enjoyable. The OST is on another level, Genshin has been my main Hotoverse game for a long time but never liked the story or the characters that much and i think this game just replaced genshin for me. I came to this game just because I liked Herrscher of Sentience character design and wanted to pull for her and I ended up staying because of how good this game is

I'm amazed at everything. So much has happened from this part of the story. I can't believe I slept on this game for so long. It's so damn amazing and the soundtrack is AMAZING TOO!
