Professor Fink I just want to thank you for getting me through my classes. I'm now a practicing RN for the past three years in the ICU and a lot of my success in school was due to your you tube videos. You truly have been a blessing! Still watching your videos today!

Thank you professor. Actually I looked into VitD before. I remember something like the VitD that is produced from sunshine is a bit different from the ones from the supplement, and taking too much VitD supplement can be harmful to health, however huge amount produced from the sun doesn't affect health, which is pretty interesting but not fully known.

Should the person diagnose with osteoporosis have additional tests to DEX as TBS (Trabecular Bone Score) which is the quality of the bone, not amount or density? Also, what test should be done to exclude bone cancer diseases? Like myeloma .. It's sad that patients should all know that and all doctors to perform tests like they wait until the patient will ask ?! Why doctors not offering to do so?!!

Well yes it is a major concern as my dentist told me here in uk. Also my neighbours aunt was taking alendronic acid and she lost mass majority of her teeth because of it she had bone death of the jaw he told me only the other day because I asked him what drug she was taking as I’ve been told to take alendronic acid and I’ve refused. Scott’s Aunt had not had cancer or steroids yet she got it. Also my mothers friend was left on alendronic acid for over 10yrs with GP change and she fractured 3 ribs just coughing with flu about 6/7 yrs ago. He new GP took her off it asap. Plus I’ve read women breaking hip just off stepping off kerbs??? Osteoporosis is natural process to us all. Also it depletes calcium from the body from what I’ve read and watched other videos by Drs it’s not safe I’d say.
