Am I the only one here that understands this? It’s about a small town receiving a local cabaret. The structure shown throughout the short is a stand, the cabaret being advertised through posters on the stand. The stand garners the attention and captures the eye of the locals who go to the cabaret and witness the shows performed for their pleasure. The shows start out relatively normal with boxing, musical performances, and juggling performers, but then we see the real reason people go to see the cabaret is for the naked women. The short demonstrates the corruption such a place can create within a town, as shown by the people becoming more distracted at the sights and lustful imagery the cabaret presents. As these stand pop up around the entire globe, so does the corruption in those areas due to the nature of the cabaret. The film then shows people digging deeper holes metaphorically representing them getting into a bad situation such as this. Finally we see the stands and cabaret becoming demolished by a higher power, potentially the government, and the people becoming depressed, drinking their sorrows away, and trying to recreate the shows seen in the cabaret. We also see the people trying to find a replacement for the cabarets through the art of film, but that idea is soon rejected. But hey that’s just my interpretation of the short as a whole.

Good interpretation; I believe it could talk about Poland and the country's suffrage of the people due to the corruption of the government, perhaps taking away the "freedom of culture" of the people. The "musics, festivals, etc", all taken away.

Były takie fajne kioski zabytkowe Były to kioski, kioski, kioski galaryjne, plakatowe. Polowe, galerie plakatowe. Były afisze Różne teatralne. W mieście kwitło życie, Życie kulturalne. A w środku siedziała Stara emerytka, Sprzedawała gazety, No ale niestety. I któregoś dnia rano Wszystkie kioski zlikwidowano. Teraz miasto puste, Nic się w nim nie dzieje, Każdy siedzi w domu, Wódkę sobie chleje. Podobno ma Polska Swą szkołę plakatu, Ale się go nie widzi, Bo nie ma gdzie wieszać. Ani tam, ani tu. Rewaloryzują, rewaloryzują, A jak coś zrewaloryzują to utną, skrócą, popsują, wyrzucą. Teraz miasto puste, Ludzie w domu siedzą. Do kina nie chodzą, Bo o nim nie wiedzą. Kina zamykają, W kinach idzie chała, Przez jedną staruszkę Co pieniędzy chciała.

@@ops9104 Google Translation: Text. Once on every street corner, there were historic kiosks, on them were colorful posters. How joyful it was when people looked cheerful and saw what they were playing in the cinema or theatre and all around there were such cool antique kiosks. There were gallery poster kiosks, field poster galleries and there were various threatre posters. Life flourished in the city. Cultural life in the middle sat an old pensioner selling newspapers but unfortunately, different people came then looked at the posters and saw where he was singing. The old sly pensioner wanted more money, so an old ugly woman took a shovel and a tunnel was dug at once, two kiosks served at once. He crawled underground from one to the other and if someone was buying either in one or the other, the head was displayed and the newspaper was sold. But, when she crawled out the land is counter. She was countering in the newspaper. These lands are counter, counterattacked in the newspaper, the land was there and control covered it and one morning, all kiosks were closed. Now the city is empty, nothing is happening in it. Everyone is sitting at home, drinking vodka. Apparently, he has a polish poster but it can't be seen because there was nowhere to hang it. Neither there nor here. Revalorize, revaluate and if something revalorizes, it briefly spoils it. Now the city is empty, people are sitting at home. They don't go to the cinema because they don't know about it. The cinemas close, the cinema's go gloriously by one old woman who wants money. I know it doesn't make 100% sense but Google translate isn't perfect and atleast it makes enough sense to be able to kind of understand and get an idea of what the commenter is saying. Edit: I just now realized that this commenter has pretty much typed out the words that was said in the video.
