ostv 06-28-24 Triple Fatal Collision

Monterey Park : total of 5 victims involved one being a 8 year old child. Driver and child were transported to a local area hospital. Driver is suspected of DUI and the Child was possibly the only one wearing a seat belt.
Monterey Park PD and Fire received a call of a traffic collision with a person trapped inside. Once unit arrived at scene, they confirmed two people trapped inside one person ejected from the vehicle and landed on the roof of a residence home. Fire declared the two people trap inside the vehicle DOA.
Monterey Park FD went onto the roof to see the third victim that was involved in the crash. Monterey Park FD hoisted the patient down from the roof using a ladder and a Rescue Basket.
Monterey FD pronounced all three victims DOA
The vehicle was possibly speeding hit a tree and flipped and landed on its side with ejecting a member from the vehicle
