He looks special. Most of his throws are dimes. He’s legit throwing his receivers open. Air might fit in sooner because he runs a similar offense to Ohio State but I can see why Sayin is rated higher.

I’m glad that I’m not alone in what I’m seeing. I’m not overly impressed by this tape and I’m an OSU fan. It makes me wonder what scouts are able to see when watching film or attending these recruits games. I don’t think Julian is bad per se though. I’m fine with Air Noland tbh. I’ll take all the potential talent we can get though

I mean, the scouts rated McCord a 5 star and had DJ Uiagalei above CJ Stroud... But this kid is already leaps ahead of McCord or Uiagalei bc he can move and throws accurately even on the run, none of which they could do. DJ had the arm but is slow and not accurate unless you put him against the Pac 12 paper defenses. Kyle has no arm and no tangibles. He's inaccurate, can't create, he's slower than the D line, and was a horrendous decision maker. McCord is the type of QB that takes a championship team and manages to nearly fumble 5 games. And Sayin has been very good in practice from what I hear

I like Air Noland a little better because he makes the right play. Julian won’t be able to get away with throwing into double coverage like that in college but he’s def a baller. Should be a helluva competition
@dope_humor7 ай бұрын
Air was also on a much better offense and his WRs were so good that he never really had to throw in double coverage. His WRs are almost always wide open. The moment he lost some of his star WRs the team went run heavy. Not knocking on Air just pointing that out bc ppl look at him complete passes to WRs that are 5-10 yards open and think he's way better than Sayin, whose WRs are nowhere near that caliber. Air's offense broke Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence's HS offense records.

According to some reports, when each QB ran with the ones in Saturday's scrimmage Julian balled out. Dude can already process and go through his projections quickly, the receivers say he throws the best ball and he already has a good rapport with JJ. I'm all for Air as the future, but I also want it to be the best QB, whether its Air, Kienholz or Sayin.

@@Choclate_Chip_Hoochie Fans need to chill thinking they know ball more than the coaches. At one point fans wanted Stroud benched for true freshman Kyle McCord after they thought CJ played like a "bum"(🙄) in his debut against MN; passing for 295 4 TDs 1 INT and a 92 QBR. Of course CJ ends up a #2 overall pick and becomes NFL Offensive Rookie Of The Year after having what was arguably the best season by a Rooke QB, EVER. As far as McCord, well we all know that story turned out. Lets all relax and let it play out.

OSU needs to play a 2 QB system and 3rd QB in mop up 4th quarter. It worked with Stanley Jackson/Joe Germaine. Too much talent to keep on sideline and too long of a season with expanded playoffs you're going to need multiple QB's. This year Will Howard 1a Devin Brown 1b Sorry Lincoln is good but probably should transfer back to Washington. this year play 4 games with Julian and 4 games with Air work. There will be at least 8 blow out, 4th quarter game opportunities this season, for both, and they both get redshirts. They will prove it with game experience this year! for next year's competition. Will will go pro. This will be Devins chance. If he gets hurt or struggles, he goes to Arizona or Arizona St in porthole. If Devin does great, then he will either come back for a 3 qb competition or go pro. Honestly, not very optimistic with Devin after the Bowl game and his injuries but heard he has a good spring so far.
