Suprised he didn't play more. The offseason things people who are "in the know" all seemed to rave about him, one even wen't as far saying potential Hiesman trophy potential. Kinda reminded me how they talked about Bam Childress, always said how he made spectacular plays but never really seen the field much and wasn't spectacular when he was in from my recolection. Good luck to Brown he obviously has seen or thinks he could be surpassed. Every player want's to get to the NFL and he needs tape.

The transfer portal and the NIL has ruined college sports. It’s not about the best team the teams that worked the hardest when the championship it’s about who has the most money who can buy talent! That’s a real shame there is no accountability. dedication commitment to anything anymore! We are really doing a fantastic job teaching you what they need to do to be successful. Offense lacking a great line, Ryan Day has proven his lack of discernment. The mechanics surrounding fluid potential is predicated on providing strength on all positions. Ohio state is known for great recievers and phenomenal running backs. They also are known for a paper mache front line. We also secure finesse athletes, they work well with complete teams, when they are under assault and the line crumbles, we expierience, far to many (3) and outs, to include interceptions at the most inopportune times. If Ryan refuses to build a complete team, it becomes neccessary to recruit quarterbacks that favor Brian Sipes, and he will need to be accompanied by backs like Jim Brown and Earl Campbell. If we are stuck with Ryan Day, it would be nice to see and overhaul of the offense. I prefer a warriors heart over a handicapped finesse player?

Ryan Day isn’t going anywhere. Stop with the rumors.. fans don’t appreciate what this coach has been through. We have to change the narrative. First of all expectations are ridiculous. 2019 he was cheated out of a playoff win against Clemson. Funny how that worked out having the SEC officiating crew on the field for that game. Then there is teams purposely injuring his star players in a game. Justin Fields played amazingly against Clemson. His injury really hindered him against Alabama. Then there’s the out right cheating by UM. If teams have to play dirty to beat you that says more about how pathetic and desperate they are to beat you. If UM hadn’t cheated. OSU would have been in the playoffs every year under Ryan Day. But the narrative is he can’t win the big games. That’s completely correct because it’s rigged against him.

Yes, that is the problem. He isn't going anywhere. Every other coach has things happen to them too. You can make every excuse in the book. But in the end you can beat talent equated teams or you can't. He is far too fragile. He lacks leadership in key moments. He complains and makes excuses over his own failings. He lacks adaptability and sticks to failing plans even when everyone else can see it isn't working. I think he does has some really good traits that could develop into a great coach. He just isn't there. I see no reason to stick with him if he can't do better. The goal is clear and it isnt to beat Penn st. He needs to look in the mirror... admit he was born on third base and learn how other coaches have earned getting there. Yes it will hurt to say. But pain is not how you round the bases. You just have to beat the ball. Learn all the ways to do that and you might just bring something home that isn't disappointment. I'm gonna pull for the guy every step of the way, but, he better get over thinking some devine being has a plan for him other than getting his... kicked every big game until figures that out.

No. You don’t want a defensive minded HC. You’ll never keep a good OC. No one wants to deal with the unrealistic expectations and pressure of being the HC of the Buckeyes. OSU would need up suffering set backs. Players want to come to OSU to get developed by Coach Day and Hartline. That’s why we have the QB room we have, WR room we have. OUR OL had its two best experience player get injured. That’s why they struggled against UM. Three weeks to work on it. Should result in a better out come.

Fans can be somewhat like our voting base in America, When a society is compromised and ignorance favors pie in the sky, we as a nation suffer and fail when hard work and personal responsibility are traded for handouts and crime. Football also has specific standards, and there is no replacement for good coaching, Ryan Day is a prime example, spending millions of dollars and surrounding himself with the best talent in the nation, it is not enough to cover for his poor coaching and management failures.
