@@AJ1703 ​ here's a contrarian opinion: the made of fire hddt fc isn't proof that cookiezi is still a god. first of all, I unironically believe it's overhyped. Yes, it's a great score that nobody has done before (though there's EZFLDT fc). I just can't believe how people were hailing it like cookiezi just got world first 800pp (ok not that much, but still). secondly he literally had to retry spam that shit to hell. it's a one minute map that he's been attempting for god knows how long. He finally gets it, congratulations. Not very consistent though. Meanwhile his historic plays are getting sniped left and right and he can't do anything about it, he doesn't address it himself, but I keep seeing people say shit like "oh he just doesn't care about competition" which is pure delusion. I read a comment half a year ago where this guy was bashing whitecat fans, saying "cookiezi fc'ed made of fire DT and people still think whitecat is the greatest, lol". back in 2017 cookiezi did shit like ss arles freedom dive with HD until the ending. Even if cookiezi never improved from that point and just sustained until 2020, he'd still be one of the greatest players, now I can't see an argument for it.
