Love how vibrant and tropical the end result looks, overgrown architecture is a guilty pleasure of mine!

Another great piece. Well done! One small feedback though, you didn't take into account the wetness of the rocks submerged in the water, so the water looks a little bit like resin in those areas. Otherwise the shading looks perfect.
4:26 not sure if this will work for this situation but I remember happening to my character model as well whenever I use sub div and the way I fix is to go to edit mode, select everything, and then press m to merge and press distance

Another great artwork! I love this! If you don't mind me asking, are you using Quixel assets? if you are, which license do you have? I have been thinking about using quixel assets but I am very unsure what license to buy. anyway, great job!

op 🔥 btw how did you make the water shader cause it looks super cool
@exorcist3d992 жыл бұрын
hey, I can give you the material max hay uses- In principle BSDF, musgrave texture into bump into normal for the water ripples. Specular up, roughness down, transmission 1.0 if you want. Also, a principled volume or volume scatter into volume as well. For an extra detail make sure you make your assets that are protruding out of water, a little bit darker and smoother in the areas near and under water to make them look wet.
