_"Hi Will! Thanks for the _*_amazing_*_ feedback,"_ ...Sorry? Have I wandered into another galaxy or something? In what paradigm might *you* (nice OSV person), consider Will's 22 word feedback to be amazing? I could have understood *any* of these replies; (no offence meant to you Will btw) _"Thanks for your feedback Will..."_ _"Thanks for your great feedback Will..."_ (having a little fun with... ahhh never mind.) _"Thanks for your to-the-point reply Will..."_ _"Thanks for your less than interminable response Will..."_ Or best and most appropriate of all (any my personal favourite), _"Thanks for your kind words Will..."_ Why is it (young person at OSV), does everything have to be brilliant, amazing, superb, fantastic or awesome with your generation? Someone far more literate than you or I once said in relation to the English language, that _"...less, is more."_ Adieu.

*The ElectricHobo:* Now I'd genuinely be interested in hearing more. What was the main problem with your Fiat 500(Hell)?

Can anyone comment on the performance of the Golf SV 1.5tsi? It's only 128 bph but not sure how torky it is I'm about to replace my 2.0 ltr petrol Honda CRV which is sluggish on low down pull, so unsure and my budget wont stretch to a more powerful version.

How reliable are VW Mk7 golfs, are they problem free ?
@rivervalegroup6 жыл бұрын
There are remarkably few faults reported by owners over the Golf’s 3-8 year life, with even the most common fault, a serious one with the braking system, not being too common. A small number of diesel owners also had a serious issue with the suspension, and rarer issues were also reported with the air conditioning, a minor fault with the cruise control on petrol models, and another minor one with the washers or wipers.

Do the dpfs still give trouble on newer vws?Also looking at a 1.4 tsi with high mileage should it be reliable with full service history?

I know OSV covers a fairly wide variety of vehicle reviews (and thanks for that), but this particular review is extremely 'Daddish', even down to the incredibly boring colour of the car being reviewed. Once the reviewer steps into the Golf SV, you discover it really WAS designed for a 1970's Dad. Dashboard, bland. Seating, bland. Switchgear, bland, and so it goes on. Again I appreciate that it's an MPV being reviewed, but seriously, you look at the design and styling of *this* MPV, and then compare it to MPV's like the 2018 Citroen MPV or the 2018 Renault Scenic. I mean even Skoda MPV's are a little ray of sunshine next to this dreary 'thing' still being thrown out to sell by VW. An awful vehicle in my opinion.

Oh the small issue of the electrics catching fire and the shoddy semi automatic gearbox that seems to jump from 5th to 3rd at 70mph and the insanity inducing rattle from the engine bay while at idle... The car is only a year old.

*The ElectricHobo:* Eek! It sounds a nightmare, not to mention a death trap. Mind you, I've had major electrical problems with all four of the Italian cars I've owned. I wouldn't have another for that very reason. Perhaps the most worrying thing as I see it, is how that one Italian family who own and control Fiat (the Agnelli family), seem to be buying up the global car industry one piece at a time, without any Government or Monopolies Commission asking a single question? At the last count they own and control Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati and even Ram Trucks in the US. Surely that can't be good for the car buying public worldwide? Especially given that they also own all the factories which manufacture and install all the electrical wiring and components in all those marques! Cheers for replying anyway.
