Any feedback on its 10.1 screen system lag. When I connect android auto and used navigation its very delayed in MG HS2023. Even it updates my location long after I have crossed the roundabouts. So it confuses particularly at exits. Any thing updated on this wrt in MG ZS EV trophy edition or same system. Is it more responsive?

It is simply not true that electric cars are more expensive to manufacture than petrol or diesel. It may have been true 10 years ago but not now. Manufacturers are now simply trying to regain their development costs as quickly as possible with inflated prices. MG is among the first to break that trend and the downward movement of prices will, hopefully, soon accelerate.

I have this car (51.1kwh). I charge it on my 6.6kwh charger and it takes only 8 hours to charge from flat (20%). It is faster than the 72kwh car because the battery is lighter. It says I can get 199 miles on a full charge BUT have only ever (even in summer) got only 165 miles. Brilliant car!

Ordered my MG ZS on June got a call yesterday that my car has been produced and will be delivered end of April waiting for it .Trophy Model one of the last to be with Pan roof will update when i get it (my understanding is my provider is reciving all 11 he has ordered )

Hi there, I need help. I m a MG ZS EV 2024 user. I want to ask for help about auto fold door mirror. I have a tight carport between walls and I have to fold door mirror when I park on my carport. My car always unfold the door mirror and get stuck with the wall when the door is unlock. Are there anyway to turn off the auto fold door mirror. I have tried every way such as fold them before the door is locked, but the door mirror always remain unfolded when unlock again. Your help is much appreciate! 😁

Not only can you not get hold of a new ZS in the Uk right now, the price went up in January & the spec went down. There is no pano roof anymore on the Trophy model & its not even an option either. Because of it's undersized wheels I also think the ZS looks top heavy & goofy from the side on. It needs bigger wheels / tyres. Seems to be a trait with quite a few Chinese cars. At least it has a rear wash & wiper which, for some inexplicable reason, the MG4 does without. I'm still waiting for a decent spec small hatchback EV around the £20k mark. Some 2-3 year old used models are nearly there but I'll wait a bit longer until we get some BYD & Xpeng models coming in & see what happens to the market then.

Good Review, but having that silly flask and wondering why it doesn't fit in a 'cup holder' . Don't try and find things to complain about. Long as a 500 ml water bottle for a coffee cup fits who cares that a massive flask doesn't??

I would agree, except for the one tiny fact, you can’t get one for love nor money in the UK… I ordered a Trophy LR in March ‘22. In November ‘22 I was told by my dealer “Your car hasn’t even been built yet, according to our system”, so I cancelled my order. Luckily, I got a cancelled order MG4 Trophy instead. MG are playing games with their customers. People ordered cars (MG4’s) in November ’22 who were told their cars would be here Feb/Mar ‘23. They are now being told May ‘23. People are still waiting on ZS’s since October ‘21 & are now being re-directed onto MG4’s or MG5’s 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ Shocking way to deal with customers IMHO!

Ordered a MG ZS EV in February 2022, car was offered to me at a discounted price under the affinity program, I still don't have any build date. The dealer has confirmed to me that they will update me but I feel like, they may have had my car and sold it to someone else for more profit. I shall wait. I fear that MG ZS EV new model will come with more price rise and MG Chorley will say to me sorry! Mr. Tanvir MG updated their model. I shall wait.

Sorry but an EV is much cheaper to build than a Petrol car. It has less parts, easyer to manufacture and will get cheaper each year. 1kW Battery power now only costs $100 and it is expected to reach 50$/kW with the Sodium Batteries. The Prices are only that high because customers are willing to pay that price. Tesla cut their prices about $10.000 in the last 6 months without even shedding a tear.

The worst electric car I know. I’ve driven now 45k kilometers with it and will never buy an MG anymore…….. The software is rubbish, driving aids are undrivable….. Range is insufficient for “long range”…… No heat pump…… App makes contact with central server instead of the car, and is at many times unreachable…… There is no built in timer for pre-heating…… And so on, and so on……

This is the worst car I have ever owned. Never ever buy a MG. It's a dangerous car with alot of problems with quality and the safety.
