Oswald was Walt Disney’s first character, before Mickey Mouse. Back in the mid 1920’s Disney did not have enough money for his small studio to animate by themselves, so they got help from Universal. To do this, they needed to give rights to use Oswald over to them. Oswald was a huge success! Due to this, Universal took away the legal rights to use Oswald from Disney. Since he couldn’t get Oswald back, he made his own character, Mickey, who we all know today. In the early 2000s, Disney got Oswald back, and put him in a game with Mickey, titled “Epic Mickey,” which shows him in the land of forgotten cartoons, as well as part of his tragic upbringing. I’m really glad this mod is showing him off to those who may not know about him- since he’s always overshadowed by his younger half-brother. Glad he’s getting the recognition he deserves!

For people who don’t know who or what Oswald is, let me explain. Oswald The Lucky Rabbit is a VERY old cartoon that began within 1926 as Disney’s oldest cartoons with a mickey type looking character within it. Oswald was later on moved to a new company and was now told anything made after 1928 did not belong, nor was made by Walt Disney. He is about 90 years at this point and is now living in the town he made, for forgotten cartoons (as was shown in the game Epic Mickey). Some little fun facts about him: He can take parts off his body and put it back as he pleases, he also has a wife named Ortensia (she is a cat) and 420 children that are called The Bunny Children.

Hey, I know it’s past Halloween, but could you check out the Hypno’s Lullaby mod. It’s got 3 songs with them each being based on a Pokémon Creepy Pasta and have good songs as well as each song having a gimmick. There’s also a secret 4th song accessible at any time by moving up and down in the menu until hearing a sound cue and then pressing the 0 in the version number. It’s honestly really fun, challenging, and the animation/sprite work is top notch
