thank you for your video very easy to understand, good job! I was wondering if i had a patient that had hallucinations how should i as their COTA do ? should i agree with the pt and what they are seeing in their hallucinations should i distract them with another activity what should i do or say to patient ?

Hi Kimberly. Brillant question. I am glad you asked. In the event the pt is hallucinating, try not to argue with what is seen or heard, and comforting the person if afraid. Also, you can district the pt by either going to another room or walking in a different environment.
