Thanks! Since I have Photographic Memory and Victorian Standards, it's not easy to see their orders with this layout. For the case of this first group, everyone else had already taken a salad but there was still one person left who didn't eat even though there was a salad available on the Teleporter. That's when I know to send a menu back through!

Yeah, Photographic Memory is a pain with Victorian Standards, can't really go out into the dining room. I had to wait to see if a customer still doesn't have a dish even if there is one on the teleporter.

quick question. Why are you chopping the meat for the meat soup?

It cooks in 3s instead of 6s (on a danger hob) wiki.plateupgame.com/recipes/StartersSidesDesserts#meat-soup I think it makes a negligible difference in practice because of the time it takes to convey stuff around. In the future, I'd probably save the one kitchen space and make carrot (unchopped) soup which takes 5s or use the new Christmas Crackers starter which doesn't need to be cooked.

I was under the impression that you could throw entire raw steaks into the soup pot, does it give more servings thks way?

You can, it takes 12 seconds with a raw steak and 6 seconds with a chopped raw steak. So it's just faster.

OT Day 422! This is insane. A few questions: How do you ensure that they will only order what is on display stands? Is that what the special menu is for? For some reason, I don't see them resetting order or even ordering anything outside the display stands. Also, I thought each franchise run adds +30% customers, how did that not happen to you given you're on tier 7 and OT day 422? Awesome run! Please share more of your amazing runs.

Yes, I use the Specials menus to reset their orders (I do it several times in the video). I use the number 4 teleporter to send menus back into the dining room because Victorian Standards makes me lose patience if customers can see me. The cue I look for is if a table is still waiting for dishes but there are ones on the teleporter for them, that means they must have ordered something else. Not all franchise cards have the +30% (see wiki.plateupgame.com/Cards). Specifically, the Variety card is what you can use to pull in new mains, does not have +30%, and you can pick it six times. I think the seeds that offer Variety change each patch, but with the Autumn seeds still in the game, you don't really need to go this route to get a franchise with a lot of mains anymore. I just happened to have it set up already from beforehand so I used it.
