Set aside how fans themselves want to see her, this persistent she has about her image is nothing new to longer fans. It also depends on the algorithm on WHAT have you been SEARCHING because it is not easily going to appear once you search for her name UNLESS you have some SUSPICIOUS history. Also, safe-search exists. But yeah, her point stands. She doesn't necessarily banned things, since she did give an allowance, but please made sure it doesn't came out in algorithm or public search when her name was being associated.

By that argument, YT can also recommend content that other people that have seen just by clicking on that certain video, which will inevitably show even the slightest of lewds. Edit: it's like how even the most mundane content could be conected to very Yab(not just lewd) content, although YT is getting better at segregating those from most videos but little can be said for the new ones popping up, did you know a video of a guy spreading his cheeks circulated at one point because it was for education.

@@Ucj334esd true, but not most of the time. the argument made here is when 'every time' you search her name, hopefully there will be no lewd appeared. which in my case and i do have tested it, none of it appeared in my feed besides her songs. i've tried this with her full name both japanese and romanized. maybe i need to try typing suisei or hoshimachi separately both romaji and japanese. the point here is we need to wonder first what type of keyword that people use to get the nsfw to appeared, because not all to blame the lewd artist model, but the one who's uploading it. also, what kind of thing you associated her name with most of the time. but yeah, that doesn't mean i didn't condone her action. i just wanted to make it clear that all party here share almost the same guilt when it comes to this, not just the lewd modeler (except Suisei, since she knew how internet is, that is why she can only tell people not to share the model and only made it for themselves or only upload it in private domain)

This is why I separate R18 from regular accounts. Gotta learn to respect that NSFW shouldn't be so easily accessible that even people who don't want to see it would see it. People don't go on youtube for lewd content. NSFW subreddits are their own thing that you won't see unless you choose to see them. Twitter, people end up seeing near NSFW content and would even mute their mutual as a result of it. Thanks for clipping and subbing this Otakmori. You're a great guy. TBF, once you get into MMDs on KZbin coming across lewd MMDs is not that difficult. Going from a video and then following the recommendations on the sidebar, then repeating that action several times probably gets you a lewd result eventually even if you don't actively search for lewds. And if you are also into Vtubers I could see the algorithm leaning towards giving you Vtuber MMDs as well.

It's because of regions and how long you have been in the space the algorithm has already filtered your sh8 out. Meaning if the Cousin watched MMD's before of characters like Genshin or some anime if he serches VTUBERs an MMD will likely pop-up and he might have seen a lewd one not outright r18 but still lewd that a kid who isn't really at that age yet was completely turned off but the content that the vtuber he might watch is doing.

Basically it was a bad draw because his search algorithm was based on his previous watched videos. Basically he liked Idols so Dancing Singing etc etc and if he has watched MMD's of Anime Characters as I have said before an MMD will likely pop up. Like how if I search "LIONEL MESSI Inter Miama" an Edit will likely pop-up due to how much I watched Messi Edits despite it being just a straight out Lionel Messi search. Or like how if you search NEW ANIME but since you watched AMV's before an AMV will pop up. Etc etc etc

Yeah I just did it too. Then I see two shorts, Marshall Maximizer (...I think, the song name is in Japanese), Goodbye Declaration and Idol (the video after that is a clip about Nodoka for some reason). Only the first one seems to be over the line going by the thumbnail, and I am pretty sure I watched the Goodbye Declaration (but like, a year ago or something) and one or both of the shorts and that those are also pretty safe. Can't be sure about Idol or Marshall Maximizer without watching. But I guess that if they were going to go risqué with it they would have hinted at it with the thumbnail, so those are probably safe (I am actually pretty curious about Idol. I think I'll watch that one lol) (Edit: 1. Yes it was Marshall Maximizer. 2. I have actually found two Goodbye Declaration shorts. 3. Also came across and Idol short as well. 4. Haven't watched the Treasure Box one, because it is obvious the uploader went that way with the model's state of dress in the thumbnail but the others are pretty safe (they do use the same model, but they are at least fully clothed). 5. Hilariously, the most common type of comment seems to be about how somethings on the model are bouncing.)

And then people complain when others use that R18 model, for its intended purpose. lol. If she wants non-H animations, the least she could do, is release a public MMD model without those textures/options.

So when someone inevitably does that with Suisei's official model if it gets released, that becomes even worse than using a fanmade model to do it since it's using her official image This isn't an option.

Many MMD creators will not make videos using Suisei simply because the only model available is a R18 model made by Tarako. If the only model available is a R18 model, OBVIOUSLY a good part of the MMD videos will be R18.

Honestly, Suisei addressed this topic in possibly the best way she could have. She acknowledged that trying to get the internet to stop making lewd content is about as realistically feasible as trying to get Gura to finish building Atlantis, but still proposed a solution to where fans are still able to create lewd content as a means of expressing admiration for her, while keeping it away from newer/more impressionable viewers who might misunderstand her as a result. Instead of just being upset about the issue, she takes the initiative of finding a way to fix it, once again refusing to be a Cinderella who waits forever, but instead like the prince who goes and gets things done, just like the shooting star she has become. The difference can be as small as applying a different texture file. That's something anyone who has ever used an okay graphics editor can do pretty quickly.

funny thing about this is.. releasing official model kinda fix this.. since official model is controlled (sensitive parts are patched) therefore less sensitive mmd vid results.. she even said "you can strip it and dance naked" for fanmade mmd which is not possible on official model.. so not having the official model release is backfiring.. just my two cents... also telling them not to release the video and/or the model is stepping on freedom thingy stuff.. so its kinda muddy area..

Well to be fair an MMD KZbin either it's SFW or NSFW is just an easy target to take down. Cover can simply utilize their lines of staffs to hit those report buttons and YT-Kun will work flawlessly if NSFW tag mentioned. if they (The Uploader)still doing it again just use the copyright infringement subpoena's to demand YT-Kun to surrenders the Channels and Uploaders IP and Identities.

There's no "lines of staffs", in fact they're lacking in manpower. A Holomem (I think it was Calli) has already said that sometimes their old studio was unused coz there was no one to operate the stuff needed for a 3d livestream. When Cover unveiled the new Hololive Studio, they immediately announced that they were looking for more staff. Even other Holomem told people to apply if they have the know-how Cover is looking for.

the irony is that since no official models exists, people will find the R18 models first since many more of those exists and many more videos of that sort also exists partially due to that. when i wanted to try MMD (even tho i never made any) i looked for Kizuna AI's model, but she took down her official one so the only ones remaining were the R18 ones. now even if someone would not make R18, a lot more people will, even if they are not fans, they probably specialize in doing those kinds of MMDs and try to have popular characters to grow their name. then comes the problem on KZbin that a lot of fans of those R18 will make dummy channels on YT and post them, get banned, make a new channel and do it again constantly. there is also no shortage of people. meaning even if they could only make one account, the problem does not end. also the real authors will post toned down versions of their videos that respects KZbin's Therms Of Service (TOS) to signal to the world they exist so when their name is looked up on Google, they get more fans and people on Patreon where the R18 videos are. having an official model and more SFW (Safe For Work) models and MMD videos might help to drown those R18 versions a bit down that search list. (but they also need views to help with that.) i know a bit since i got an alt account for "rabbit holes" of that sort watching stuff i do not want in my regular account on the recommended. i seen a few of hers even without looking for her, but that is because hololive is popular.

The R18 Suisei fanmade model was done by a creator named Tarako, he did lots of hololive R18 MMDs model and the quality is really good, better than any fanmade ones out there. It was just ashamed that it can only be obtain thru such website. He already deleted after few weeks of releasing it due to the obscene poses he made to showcase Suisei's model which damage her idol reputation and some angry fans caught on. He even made Noel and Towa as well which at the time was not available. So those who managed to download it are the lucky ones because it was very close to the original ver. The only difference is that Tarako's base model has a nude version while Hololive's official MMD base model is mix with the outfit. This only happens because their models are not made available despite many requested for it. I understand that the talents have the final say at the end but it would be better to have it available so this doesnt happen.

Also, even if there's no MMD Model out there, there's Koikatsu, HS2, VAM and others. R34 will find a way, don't try to pin it down to a single person and also don't try to go after the creators, learn what "streisand effect" is before taking any action. Also, his Hololive models are still available on Fantia, MMDA Booru, Kemono Party and several other places. If you dislike Suisei's R18 videos on youtube, just report them, they're against the rules. Just don't try to go after them on Iwara, Twitter or Pixiv, that's dumb and will only result in people doing it even more out of spite.
