Well, it seems like Hedin (AKA Sgt. Hartman😂) intensive (read: “hellish”) training gave… unexpectedly positive results if I may say so… To be able to transform a dense and childish boy like Bell into a refined gentleman (read: “helpless womanizer”) it’s honestly an impressive achievement worthy of praise… I’m scared: this guy was already a menace INSIDE the dungeon, now he’s a gigantic “threat” also OUTSIDE… I think he’d be able to “rizz” basically everything that breathes: young girls, adult ladies… IT DOESN’T MATTER, NO ONE is safe with “New Bell” around😂😂😂 That scene with Cassandra killed me, I absolutely loved it😂😍😍: with the situation becoming more awkward with every second that passed and Daphne was simply spectacular, being the friend that ends up being “the third wheel” during a “date” with her mood that went from “extremely embarrassed” to “astonished” at Bell’s audacity Poor Ryu, seeing her like this really breaks my heart… I feel like she’s constantly piling up frustration and sadness, until she can’t take it anymore and ends up “exploding”, or that’s what I fear… It’s clear how subconsciously she doesn’t want Bell to go on a date with Syr but then she quickly denies it💔😭 I wouldn’t have thought in a million years that the moment would come where I would see Hestia and Aiz team up to “save” Bell (Hestia was like: “You are a threat, but right now I’m facing AN EVEN BIGGER threat”😂😂) I also feel quite sad for Syr: in the end she just wants to be freed from the “Freya Familia” (I think that she originally was just a “puppet” used by Freya to move freely, but then acquired a personality of her own and detached a bit from her, even if she’s still under the Goddess control… Interesting to notice how in the Familia seem to be different “factions” on the matter) P.S. The “Hestia Familia” girls in those maid outfits were something I didn’t realize how much I needed, until I saw them… They’re all really cute😍😍❤️

Since you mentioned Bell’s family I got to wondering if you have seen the Danmemo anniversary events? Yes, they are from a mobile game but they were written by the author and he confirmed that they are canon. They can be long (some are almost 4 hours) but they are worth it if you love the series. Argonaut tells the story of Bell’s favorite myth. There are a LOT of lore drops that reframe many scenes throughout the series. Astrea Record tells what happened in Orario 7 years ago. It gives more info on the Loki and Astrea familias (you see a lot of Ryu and her familia) as well as some interesting bits of info about Bell. The Aedes Vesta anniversary event was the sequel to Arrow of Orion so it was nice to see the continuation of that story. Knights of Fianna tells the story of Fianna, the goddess the pallums worship. It ties in more towards Sword Oratoria and gives a bit of backstory and context. There were 2 other anniversary events but the 1st, called Grand Day, might not be canon and the 6th is just the later volumes of Sword Oratoria so don’t watch it if you haven’t read any of that series as it would have major spoilers. Also, a fair bit of warning, these stories can get very dark so be prepared.

I think Hedin wants Syr to be happy but is still (like you said) ultimately on Freya's side. Either way he's training Bell to be a more "refined" individual for either of them.

Not a spoiler but a detail and elaboration. Because so much is left unsaid or poorly explained. Something that was mentioned in the first season(but not very well). Is that Freya can see soul auras(it is how she can watch him so well from afar it is also something only she can do). Bells soul is clear and shines brightly and grows brighter when he is fighting(also why he glows when argonaut is powering him up. We are seeing what Freya does). Being able to see Bells soul and see it shine is why Freya is obsessed and why she has done things to help Bell grow.

Once again Ais appears on the show to remember us the viewers that we are supposed to be cheering for her and shipping her with Bell, even if every other girl bell met had better character development in the main story... I wonder if it will even be possible for Bell to run away with Syr, i mean, i hope so, but it seems very complicated tho.

The biggest problem with Ais is that there's no point in the story until sometime after this season where it would make sense for them to be in the same tense fights, because she'll just stomp whatever is challenging Bell and defeat the purpose of him trying to grow. That said, Ryu is best girl after last season. There's just no one else Bell has a better relationship with

@@colovick I don't mind Ais not appearing much for Bell, my issue is she not appearing at all, i mean, she is supposed to be the main girl and yet we are in season 5 and know nothing about her, we don't even know if her feelings for Bell changed from season one to season 5, and that is what i dislike, we are supposed to cheer for her when there is nothing about her to cheer? it makes no sense, and the saddest part is knowing Syr and Ryuu will most likely be rejected in favor of Ais...

​@@Ricardo_Rick The thing is you are supposed to cheer for Bell to get her not the other way around. Also Ais is the main love interest not the main girl. From what I heard anime didn't handle Ais well and cut her screentime and the spin-off series Sword Ortoria is where we were supposed to know about her but it's not a good adaptation either. As for this episode she definitely felt jealous but she didn't understand her feelings.
